πŸš€ Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The product is highly favored by most users for its significant impact on bass control, especially in compact spaces like small cars. Users praised its ease of installation and functionality, mentioning that it works perfectly as described. The abundant wiring and adjustable settings to varying music types were appreciated. However, one user expressed a need for dual input capacity to control 2 amps at once.

Pros

  • πŸ”§ Easy installation process
  • 🎚 Adjustability to different music types
  • πŸ‘ Works as described

Cons

Should I Buy It?

Whether you're an audiophile who values the quality of your sound, or if you're just wanting to avoid disturbing your neighbors with your music, this product shows high promise. Given the overall positive feedback about its performance and functionality, it seems like a good purchase. However, if controlling two amps simultaneously is a must for you, this may not be the best option.

  • Awesome combo for the price
Pros; The 12" sub box was a custom fit for the complex under back seat design of the 2023 Silverado. High quality sub box with face down sub openings. Awesome bass from 12" Kicker subs. great Kicker amp. The bass boost knob is a must and works great. Cons; I took the combo to Best Buy to get installed. They said the aluminum wiring that comes with this set is no good. I had to buy a copper set. The amp that comes with the set provides more power than the subs were rated for. Since I did not want to buy another amp, the Best Buy tech adjusted the power gain down (or some thing like that) so it would not harm the subs. Just something you should be aware of. Best Buy did an amazing install ata great price (well worth it) and I highly recommend them. They also installed the Bass Boost knob within reach so I can change it on the fly when switching to news or musics sources. ... show more

  • Works great
Worked well with my marine kicker amp in my utv. It’s hooded up a couple years after being exposed to lots of dust and occasionally some water. Durability is good. Easy to install I recommend this product.

  • Works with Kicker CXA400.1 amp
This is a required part for completing a Kicker amp installation. Not sure why they stopped including these with the amp when you buy it new.

  • Very Useful Bass Control, but Handle with Care for Longevity
The Kicker 46CX Bass Remote Control for KICKER CXA-Series, PXA-Series, and CX-Series amplifiers is a great addition to a Kicker system when it’s working properly. It does exactly what it’s designed to do and adds a lot of convenience. The main benefit is being able to adjust bass output on the fly without touching the amplifier itself. The control is responsive, easy to dial in, and makes it simple to fine-tune bass depending on the music or driving conditions. When set up correctly, it integrates seamlessly with compatible Kicker amps. That said, this remote is a bit temperamental. In my experience, it needs to be kept in a stationary location. If it’s mounted securely and not jostled or moved around, it lasts significantly longer. When exposed to frequent movement or vibration, longevity drops. I’ve gone through a few of these, and keeping it fixed in place makes a noticeable difference in how long it holds up. Because of that, I recommend planning your install carefully and avoiding areas where it might get bumped or handled often. Used this way, it performs well and adds real value to the system. Overall, this is a useful and well-designed bass controller, but durability keeps it from being perfect. If it held up longer under normal use, it would be an easy five-star product. ... show more

  • High quality knob
Great product, feels nice and high quality, not too clunky. The Dial even has a radio knob feel to it. Super easy to install, just plug and play.

  • Bass control without removing panels
This worked great paired with a Kicker 500.1. I did find that the amp had the jack too far recessed to get a good connection so I added an in-line adapter to seat further and it worked fine. This was great for adjusting bass gain on the fly, or for dropping the bass to zero so my toddler can sleep.
