The Rockville RV12. 1C Single 12" 600 watt vented subwoofer enclosure is one of the best bass all-in-one subwoofer packages we ever carried. This package is better than others on the market. This system includes a top of the line ported enclosure which gives you more punchy and better sounding bass. The vents were strategically placed on the bottom of the enclosure and then the enclosure is placed at a 15 degree angle to fire the bass out hard and give you amazing sound quality. This package also includes a mono block bass amplifier vs. most packages that have a 2 channel stereo amplifier. This mono amplifier is built just for loud bass. The amplifier is CEA-2006 compliant so you can be 100% sure you will get the power you expect. This is one of the only packages on the market that is CEA-2006 compliant. Most brands are unable to do this because they inflate their power ratings. CEA-2006 compliant means that these are tested and rated by the same industry standards used by other famous brands like Kenwood, Sony, Kicker, etc. The subwoofers in this package are of superior quality. They feature high power 1. 5" aluminum 4-layer voice coils with bumped and vented magnet motor structures among other features.

unfortunately after only a month (maybe less) with our sub, it stopped working. it had been in my possession longer since it was a bday present for my nephew. we hooked up another sub to the amp setup and it worked fine. assumign it was just the sub itself. i hit up rockville cust svc, even outside of my return window. and i hit up audiosavings cust svc. audiosavings got back to me within 12 hrs and was already starting the tracking info to get this sent back. it was FANTASTIC. resolved the issue and immediately had DEM BUMPSSSS... would recommend and honestly we may buy more just for the fact their customer service will fix whatever issue you might come up with. ... show more

Sub was already installed in box which made it easy for me. I had it installed maybe 2 weeks and the speaker blew and i am not one that needs to have it blasting. Way too small of a wattage sub to be with 1000 watt amp. I would not recommend Rockville for any system. The amp gets hot way to fast so it cuts out and i have all the settings as low as i can get them without losing sound. The box is made of cheap plyboard or something idk but when i took the screws out it all just crumpled around it. Dont even waste your money. Hifonics is the best subs i have found and i am going to stick with those from now on. ... show more

Bought this set up for a friend and wired it up for him. Within a week he blew the subwoofer (I knew he would, I expected it even) but for the money this box is incredibly made well, and the amplifier is solid. I put it on an amp dyno and it really performed well. If you’re looking for a great set up kit get this and just plan on replacing the subwoofer. I gave it five stars because of the full value of the kit no matter the subwoofer blowing ... show more

READ WHOLE REVIEW!! (April 23')- This is my first subwoofer kit, and I am super happy with it!! The sub and amp both seem to be fairly high quality and it really adds to my factory system well! I'm still breaking it in, but so far it's going great! I've never done an install like this, and I did it in roughly 8 hours, excluding a couple hours of figuring just for my car specifically. For the money, this kit puts out some pretty good sound. As long as you have a little electrical knowledge, this isn't too serious of a job. Recommend this kit! UPDATE BARELY 1 YEAR LATER (March 24')- Hello. I purchased this on April 6, 2023 and it is now March 2024. Very upset, as I found out only about 1 week after I reinstalled this same Amp and Subwoofer into my second car, that the Amp now overpowered-- and blew the subwoofer. I originally had this kit in my Jetta, and it made decent sound and power. But I wanted to move it to my next car, an Impala, and reinstall it in there. I bought another wiring kit from Rockville, got the same Amp and Sub wired up, and BOOM! It was back. It hit harder in the Impala than it did before in the Jetta, and I was very happy. For about a week. I thought the subwoofer and amp were matched for each other, but apparently the subwoofer could not hold up to the amplifier's full potential and power. Looks like I'll be purchasing a different brand of Subwoofer to replace this one. Does not last. ... show more

    • Subwoofer blew, replacement sub blew, and amp gets really hot; I can't recommend this product
Within a couple weeks of installing, the subwoofer blew. It was broken in and the volume was pretty low so I figured it could just be a fluke. After almost two weeks of communications with the returns team, I had to rip out all of the wiring from my car and send the amplifier and sub back. I installed the new system they sent and had no issues until a couple months later when the subwoofer blew again (all of the volume/gain knobs were middle to low). I also noticed that the amplifier was extremely hot and was genuinely a fire hazard. The sound was decent (not amazing) before it broke but it seems like the speakers are just poor quality and not durable. I can't recommend this product and would suggest dishing out $50-$100 more for something better. ... show more

I bought this product for my sons first car sound system. Definitely was surprised when installed. The sound quality was really good with a little fine tuning. I have no complaints, “value for money” I will give it a gold star!!
