This is a good subwoofer. I bought this subwoofer to use until i re-coned the subwoofer I just blew. With that being said I didnt break it in at all. I immediately abused it. I've re-coned my other sub but the Destroyer sounds better now that its "broken in" , and my other sub was much more expensive. Ive played the thing for 50 min drives blasting the whole time and i never smell any voice coil and it doesn't get that hot. Im really impressed with it. ... show more

Love this product, have a whole system hooked up with Rockville speakers and subwoofers. I can shake a whole trailer house. Definitely have a window or two opened or else can't breathe. You know it's a good system when u feel it in ur chest.

The sub has been nothing but bad. I shipped it back to the manufacturer for them just to tell me that the glue on the coil and that’s why it was smoking and I build a new box to put it in and it is clipping and sending the amp into protect mode. I’m running the amp that they recommend for the sub and it’s still messes up. Would not recommend ... show more

I had a destroyer 12d1 in my Lexus and was only halfway pushing my amp and it hit pretty hard I tried to find another one and everyone was sold out so I said screw it and bought this monster and let me tell you I hooked this thing up after building a custom box at 3.8 cubed and port tuned at 30hz and running the 12 and the 15 at 1ohm on 4000 watts they truly shake the earth but you need a big box and lots of power so if you have a small trunk you will struggling to fit one of these 53lb monsters in your car but if you can oh my freaking god they hitso hard it hurts lol love these subs ... show more

This is the worst company to buy from on amazon the speaker came and wouldnt work right i though it wax amp but after the 3 amp i knew it was the speaker and they are such bad customer service they still havnt gave money back they make excuses to keep it as long as possible crap vendor crap speakers dont waste your time ... show more
