  • Ideal Saucepan
Size: 2.5QT
It is hard to imagine a better saucepan than this new ceramic cookware from Rockurwok. It is incredibly sturdy, is unlikely to show signs of wear for a very long time because of the ceramic and silicone materials it is made from, it heats evenly and quickly, and, best of all, it could not be easier to clean. This is the very definition of nonstick -- food that has collected on the bottom wipes off with one swipe of your hand. The handle stays cool so you never need a potholder and the cover is transparent so you do not have to take it off to see what is happening inside. I have the 2.5 Quart version and find it a little too large for my purposes (my wife and I are empty nesters), but if you have a family it would be ideal. It also comes in 2.0 Quart and 1.5 Quart. You can put it in the dishwasher, but since it cleans up so quickly by hand I can't think of why you would need to. I use it on a gas stove but it clearly would work fine on an electric or induction cooktop as well. And it is very handsome as an added feature. It does cost a bit more than other saucepans, but given all the value it provides it would seem well worth it. ... show more

  • Superior to previous versions
Size: 2QT
I've been using a green ROCKURWOK nonstick saucepan with wooden handles constantly for over a year, and it's beginning to show signs of wear. The wooden handles on the pot and lid have lost their varnish. The wood part of the pot handle wiggles around on the metal rod that holds it. The ceramic coating inside the pot is wearing off in some places, and I worry that the metal rimming the lid is going to further damage it. Because I've enjoying using my old pot, I thought I'd see if this new version is an upgrade. And it definitely is! The first sign is that the pot and lid come wrapped in individual soft fabric bags, like other high-end cookware I've ordered. The lid handle and rim are silicone, as is the rivetless pot handle--a huge improvement over the handles on my old pot and lid. The lid on the new one is glass, as is the old one, enabling you to check your dish while it's cooking. And the metal base is also the same, which is great since I've learned it heats smoothly and evenly. As with my old pot, this one is free of toxins. I tested it out on slow-cooked oatmeal, and as you can see from my photo, it came to a smooth, consistent boil. The pan was a breeze to clean. I couldn't be more pleased with this pot. ... show more

  • Really is non-stick
Size: 2QT
This is my first ceramic pot, and it's definitely unique. It looks and feels almost like it's made of plastic and rubber (actually ceramic and silicone), with no visible metal with the exception of the bottom. The core definitely has steel inside because it works well with my induction stove which requires steel to heat. The exposed metal on the bottom is aluminum, so it doesn't rust and conducts heat well. The handle has a soft silicone coating which is comfortable to hold, and the lid has a silicone rim, so neither gets hot while cooking. The inside is very smooth, but I wanted to know how non-stick it really is. So to test it out, I heated the pan and threw some scrambled eggs in it which would normally stick like crazy in a regular pan, and there was not even the slightest stuck-on areas. They slid right out of the pan, and cleanup was a breeze with just a quick soapy sponge and rinse. I can't speak to how well it holds up to scratches and general usage over time, but right now it's a really nice pot. I like it. ... show more

  • ROCKURWOK Ceramic Nonstick Sauce Pan with lid, 2QT Small Pot for Cooking
Size: 2QT
I have to say - this is an ugly pot as far as color goes. Once you get over that it's a great pot for small meals and so forth. It cleans up easily. The lid fits soundly. The "stay cool handle" does stay cool for the most part. Overall happy with this tiny little pot, even with the color.

  • Great pot - good size for every day use
Size: 2QT
I have a really good set of stainless pots/pans but have been slowing adding ceramic coated pieces. This is a great pot. The size is perfect for every day use. Would easily fit 2 cans of veggies or pasta sauce, 2 packages of ramen with additions. So, yes, perfect for daily use. The pot does have some weight to it which is expected with ceramic-coated kitchenware. I do not have a dishwasher so I can't comment on how it would hold up. I tend to think ceramic-coated pans should be hand-washed to preserve the incredibly nonstick feature. And this IS nonstick. The lid seals the pot incredibly well but, yet, is also easy to remove. I also like that both the pot AND the lid came in a felt/cloth bag...much like a good purse's dust bag. Since I'll be using this in the new house, I kept it bagged up after handwashing. This company has a good reputation for their kitchenware. I will definitely go back to them in the future. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • nice neutral product
Size: 2QT
I got these as a nice neutral cooking pot. I usually use triple ply stainless steal but wanted something with some non-stick (ceramic) for certain items. It's easier to cook with then the steal because you don't need to heat it up for a long time first. It seems like it's good quality but I can't tell right now how long it will hold up. My experience has been with ceramic that it wears down quickly as compared to the steal that are good for a lifetime. Overall, I like the color of it, cute, classy, and matches everything. It's just the right size for smaller portions or single serve. The lid is nice and easy to wash without concern of food getting trapped in crevices. ... show more

  • Excellent sauce pan
Size: 2QT
This is a great little healthy nonstick sauce pan. I love to cook, I cook every day, and I appreciate having good equipment. This Rockurwok pan is beautifully made and quite heavy for it’s size, but not too heavy to easily pour from with one hand. It heats up very evenly and holds the heat. The ceramic nonstick coating is thick and performs wonderfully, and is very, very easy to clean. The glass lid is well fitted and equipped with a vent hole. They’ve thought of everything, even a hanging hole. I’m using this pan on an electric cooktop that we have for now, but it’s also for use on induction and gas. I’ve only had it a few days but I’m reaching for it everyday, for everything from simple syrup to mashed potatoes. it such a useful pan. ... show more
