Excellent 10” sub and an excellent price. I couldn't be happier. Connected to a RF Prime Amp. Plenty of power from the amp. Gain is way down. The lows are great. Doesn’t rattle your body like a 12” sub but provides plenty of rumble and low end.

It's Rockford Fosgate what more do I need to say!! With so many choices out there now days in subwoofers where do you start! Here is definitely not a bad place at all. RF has been in the business for a long time, they were all the rage back in the late 80's when I was introduced to them and they still are as far as I'm concerned. This being their entry level subwoofer, don't let that shy you away from them these subwoofers are fantastic and seem to enjoy smaller enclosures... I installed one of these in a Camaro in a custom wheel well sealed sub box 2 years ago and the guy is still getting compliments and continually asked if he is running 12's in his car. They work well either in a ported or sealed environment I have done both. They also have really good speakers for the interior of your car as well as fantastic amps 2 ch, 4ch, and mono block sub amps. I have installed a wide variety of Rockford Fosgate equipment and always have satisfied customers with absolutely no returns for blown or fried equipment. I put this sub into an old band pass box and it provides deep, punchy, bass (doesn't ever get sloppy... goes deep but also stays punchy and tight). The dual 2-ohm voice coils allow me to run an old stereo amp at it's max output and get a nice amount of volume without having to buy a new amp. With it set up like this, I can get some good bottom end in my focus so I don't' have to turn up the bass on the radio and it fills out the sound really nicely. ... show more

Sounds good in my truck box. Great sound for the money. Bought these used. One still looked brand new, the other has white paint on it but still works great. I have them wired as 2 ohm and I don’t think you can beat the sound can price.

This is my first sub woofer (for an automobile). I used it in my 89 Wrangler YJ. The bass is strong with the gain is low. In the picture, you can see it installed on the box. I drilled 3 holes for the 3 connectors to go into. The only issue I had was the power connector (off-on switch) was shorter than the other two connectors. Each of the 3 connectors come with a nut to tighten it down from the inside. I only used 1/2 inch plywood, and the power switch was not long enough to use the nut. But, there is 4 screw holes to hold the adapter. It works as advertised. The amperage for the usb connector is 2.4, higher would be nice. The blue color is nice, not too bright. The voltage output display is great to have. Overall, I like it and would buy it again. ... show more

We get coil disconnect from center. Was used with an 250rms watt amplifier. says: Was working fine and simply stopped working. All connectors are as new. ... show more

Good sound from an inexpensive 10" sub. I put it in a small sealed box and it peaks pretty easily. I'm gonna try a ported box with some more air space to try to find the right frequency for this sub. Overall, very happy with the purchase
