Description

The Punch P300-12T is an "all in one" solution for dropping Bass in any factory or aftermarket system. This model features a 12" high output woofer with a 300-watt internal amplifier in a slim design enclosure that's great for universal truck applications. The enclosure features quick release input and power connectors for easy removal when extra space is required and the "Closed-loop" design ensures optimum performance between woofer, amplifier and enclosure. This "all in one" solution is great for systems that need extra Punch on the low-end of the frequency spectrum. The amplifier incorporates a variable gain control to adjust the ouput of the woofer to match your system as well as a crossover and boost circuit to tailor the sound to your specific taste For even more control over your bass, we include a Remote Punch Level Control with the enclosure. I’ve had systems in every vehicle I’ve owned since I was a kid, so I’m definitely no stranger to subwoofers. I grew up running massive ported boxes and bandpass enclosures, so I’ll admit I was a bit of a skeptic when it came to a single, sealed 10-inch setup. I was really worried that a 10 wouldn't be "enough" bass and originally had my heart set on the 12, but space is at a premium in a Ram 1500 Quad Cab. The Setup: I recently overhauled the entire audio system in my truck, swapping the stock head unit for a Kenwood DMX4710S and upgrading all the door and dash speakers to Pioneers. For the install, I used the Skar Audio 8-gauge OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) kit—it’s a solid, high-quality kit that handles the power perfectly. Fitment & Practicality: Just a heads-up for fellow Ram owners: even though this is a "truck" box, it still does not fit under the rear bench seat. However, it takes up much less room on the rear floorboard behind the driver or passenger seat compared to a standard enclosure. One of the best features is the portability—if I ever need the extra floor space, I can simply unplug the power/ground wiring harness and the speaker input harness, and the whole unit pops right out. The Performance: My concerns about the sealed box and the smaller driver were completely unnecessary. This thing sounds fantastic. It delivers that tight, musical, and responsive bass that Rockford Fosgate is known for. It won’t win any bass competitions, but for driving down the road and enjoying your music with some serious authority, it is exactly what I needed. I couldn't be happier! ... show more

I finally stepped up to this Fosgate powered 10” subwoofer and couldn’t be happier . Install was super simple with included instructions and an amp wiring kit is a must . The box fits perfectly under my rear seat in my 2021 F150 , and if I need more room this box is simple to unplug and remove .thanks to a simple wire harness that plugs in or unplugs . As far as sound , It’s not overpowering in fact , it’s just right and enough to shake the windows and your mirrors if you like . It’s the perfect addition to my oem stereo giving me the bass it was lacking . Always known Fasgate as one of the best and certainly glad I chose this subwoofer as it fits my needs perfect .. It’s not cheap but not overly expensive and a great buy when you find it on sale like I did .. Can’t go wrong with this one ... show more

This thing sounds fantastic, super easy to set up and adjust , and fits behind the seat of the truck very well. I already had a trigger wire so I hooked it up, but I assume that it would turn on and off with the audio signal perfectly. It’s not going to blow the doors off of your vehicle, but sounds incredible and is a great value. I’m already considering one for my car now that the truck is done. ... show more

Anyone that knows the name already knows that thing hits. I was going for balanced sound in my truck. I don't want to rattle the neighbors windows, and I'm not looking for the neighborhood to know when I'm coming down the street. But it sure rattles the rear view mirror. Just small enough to fit under the back seat in my crew cab. If you see the pictures in other reviews you will see it sticks out about an inch. After installing I kept the gain way down to break it in, once I did the bass is incredible. Do yourself a favor, get a 4 gage install kit. Fosgate hits harder with more power to it. What else can I tell you. Ordered it had it the next day. The box has a great finish. The bass is clean. I almost expected it to be sort of muddy, since it's not ported but I should have known better. The boys in tempe know what they are doing. I like hard rock it's snappy enough to hit hard with rock. It also hits with rap, Biggie, Tupac and west side connection will really move it. No matter your taste in music it will make you smile ear to ear. 2nd purchase. I bought the 1st one (10 inch powered sub) for my work truck. After installation and tuning it sounded way better than I expected. I recently bought a new personal truck and purchased a 12 inch powered sub. Same brand. The 12 didn’t sound as good or better like I thought it would in my personal truck. So I ordered another 10 inch and installed it. It sounds incredible!!! Now it turns out the dynamics of the cab space and the positioning of the sub does matter. Both my work truck and my personal truck sound amazing. My advice is to try different speaker positions in the cab of your vehicle. Experiment with it. I’m thoroughly impressed by performance of this sub. Best bang for my buck and that’s rare these days. Rockford Fosgate definitely has the 10” powered sub dialed in. ... show more

The smaller size of this box makes it a perfect option for any truck owner. This fit perfectly under the drivers side rear seat of my 2019 F150 Supercrew, and does not impede the use of the factory storage space. The box pokes out from under the seat slightly but doesn't take up any foot room. The ability to unplug the wire harness and remove the box completely for cargo space is an added bonus. As far as sound quality goes, it's good, not great but good. More "punchy" than droning at higher volume levels, but at normal listening levels it added the bass I was looking for. Due to space constraints natural to trucks, the all in one package, and the price, I would definitely recommend this to any truck owner looking for some more low end. This would probably work good in a smaller SUV like a CR-V, but my gut tells me it wouldn't be a good trunk option for a car. ... show more

just put this in the back of my 14' jetta sel The knob is the best thing ever most dont come with one ( the only downside is having to remember to turn it off before leaving the car but hey with the feedback from no audio its pretty obvious if its still on ) Got a few quotes from audio shops to buy and install and they were all charging 700-900 plus parts! For any audio heads buy the sub online after install ( would have done it myself except im more comfortable working on older cars haha) I only paid 440 total an absolute steal of a deal for such amazing bass With my built in fender audio the bass is just next level Not to mention its size! When I say this thing is small but mighty I mean it its thinner than my roadside kit the best part? I have pretty much my entire trunk to use still pack the sub and the rsk right up against the seats and it fits just right in For anyone looking to get a cheap but great system this is the one for you hell it even beats out most of my friends 1k-3k audio systems ... show more
