Since purchasing the SHELIKI D60S MAX robot vacuum cleaner, my quality of life has improved significantly. As a busy office worker, I hardly have time to clean my home every day, but since getting this machine, I no longer have to worry about that problem. Firstly, the D60S MAX has extremely powerful suction, effortlessly handling everything from fine dust to pet hair. What’s more, its mopping function is also outstanding, keeping the floors spotless at all times. The D60S MAX’s mapping feature left a deep impression on me. It can quickly and accurately create a map of my home and allows me to customise cleaning zones and no-go areas via the mobile app. This means I can specify that it only cleans certain rooms or avoids areas prone to getting wet. This flexibility greatly improves cleaning efficiency and gives me peace of mind. Additionally, the D60S MAX's obstacle avoidance capabilities are outstanding. It can intelligently identify and avoid furniture and obstacles in the home, preventing collisions or getting stuck. This not only protects the machine itself but also prevents damage to household items. I particularly like its edge-cleaning feature, which allows it to clean along walls and furniture edges, ensuring no cleaning dead zones are left behind. Limitations of the "Behemoth": can't get under the sofa/short furniture. Due to the height of the machine, the sofa and the bottom of some short cabinets in my house are the "forbidden zone" that it can't enter. I still need to do this part of the cleaning manually (after sweeping out the dust and garbage, I can command it to come over and vacuum the edges). This is a physical limitation that I can only accept. The "big guys" are a bit of a challenge: large debris is difficult to pick up. Since I run a shipping business, small pieces of cardboard debris (the size of a fingernail or slightly larger, sometimes with raised edges) are frequent visitors to the floor, and the D60S MAX doesn't do well with these pieces, sometimes pushing them around and sometimes not getting them in. My guess is that the suction inlet design or the air ducts are not optimized enough to handle these types of lightweight but somewhat bulky/shaped objects. When this happens, I usually manually pick up or sweep it away. Mopping ability: room for improvement. As mentioned earlier, the mopping effect is relatively gentle for more stubborn stains in high-traffic areas, and is a "maintenance" type of cleaning. I'm looking forward to improving the mopping power in the future, while maintaining its current strengths. Noise level: Acceptable, but not silent. On "standard" suction, the noise is noticeable, but within tolerable limits and not particularly harsh. On "Power" or "Deep" suction, the noise level increases significantly. Interestingly, my cats were not scared away, but followed it curiously as if they were watching a moving toy, which was an unexpected bonus! If you are extremely sensitive to noise, you may need to avoid working when he is at home. Threshold Challenge: Although it can cross obstacles, there are occasional lags. The 18mm threshold is solid, but when it comes to the 12-13mm threshold in my house, it sometimes hesitates or gets slightly stuck, and needs a little time to "work hard" before it can pass. Although the success rate is high, it still needs to be watched occasionally. It is recommended that the manufacturer's algorithms can be further optimized for the smoothness of passing such critical height obstacles. Remaining issues with Max suction: When trying out the "deep" suction, I expected it to do a better job of dealing with dust or stubborn debris deep in the carpet. However, in practice, I occasionally found that some small particles (such as very fine cat litter or food crumbs) were "blown away" or not completely absorbed. Could this be due to the change in airflow caused by the strong suction? I am still observing this and will try different sweeping direction settings to see if there is any improvement.
