  • The future is here— and my floors never looked cleaner!!
Color: Silver
I just got my Roborock Saros Z70 and can confidently say it's one of the most impressive robotic vacuums I’ve owned — from the setup, to the app, to the navigation and cleaning power. But, what sets this apart from the other robotic vacuums… the super cool robotic arm! Setup and Navigation: Initial setup was straightforward with the Roborock app, and the mapping process was fast and accurate. Within minutes, it had created a detailed floor plan of my home. (Don’t look at map on my video— that was before I mapped the house because I was excited to play around with the robotic arm!). The navigation is incredibly precise. It maneuvers around shoes, pet bowls, and even cluttered areas without getting stuck. I especially appreciate how it identifies common obstacles and doesn’t just bump into them blindly like my older and far inferior robotic vacuums. Cleaning Power: The vacuuming performance is excellent. The suction is amazing. It easily picks up pet hair, crumbs, and whatever grass or leaves I dragged in on my feet from outside. The dual spinning mops with hot water cleaning really pick up dirt — our white socks never looked cleaner after walking around without shoes on. And with the mop auto-lifting feature, I don’t worry about wet mopping on our area rugs. The Robotic Arm — Very cool, but has obviously has some limitations: The OmniGrip robotic arm is the headline feature of this vacuum. It’s genuinely futuristic and works great picking up socks, a stray tissue, etc and move them aside before vacuuming. It even did ok with some of my dog’s smaller toys, but obviously not the big or oddly-shaped ones. The robotic arm is a nice to have and not a need to have for me, but is pretty neat and fun to play with. My dog is still trying to figure out what this thing is! Dock and Maintenance: The multifunctional dock is a huge plus. It not only empties the dustbin and washes the mop with hot water to clean and disinfect for the next use, but it also dries the mop to prevent mildew smells. Maintenance is minimal — just refill the water, cleaning liquid, and empty the waste tank once a week. Final Thoughts: The Saros Z70 is a cleaning machine! It does the work, so I can focus on other things. It offers real value for busy households and/or those who want the latest in smart home tech. I am very impressed! ... show more

  • Works well especially at mopping
Color: Black
We’ve had this for 6 months now and use each day. We have a large house and found we need three so we bought a second of this exact model and a third Roborock without the arm feature. Two of these works great and have little issue. Couple of things to note: If you have long haired dogs you absolutely need to clean the sensors, roller balls and moveable parts often. That would be the same for any vacuum though. It’s not a hands off appliance. I attend to them almost daily. The rollerballs at the front can be difficult to get on and off and Roborock do not appear to provide a replacement part for that even on their website. They gather the aforementioned hair easily. I’ve emailed requesting to purchase stairs as they become loose with frequent cleaning. Roborock CD has NOT responded. Disappointing. We did have an issue with the arm coming out and not going back in. The result of that required sending the unit back in for repair which took approximately two weeks. They were responsive to that issue. I’m glad we had a second unit we could swap from a less trafficked area of our home. The noise level is much better than most of the competitors and we have tried a few. It’s less noisy them most traditional vacuums by far. It’s great at getting dust and hair under most furniture but I still have to get my vacuum out occasionally to finish the job in tighter areas around chair legs, etc. This would happen with any robot vacuum. The wet mopping feature is where this robot does the best job. Our dogs come in and out and eat in a tiled area. I used to clean that area everyday with a steam mop. Now I run this unit each night and it’s made a huge difference in the cleanliness of our floor. The dirty water tells me everything I need to know about what it’s picking up and how well it works. Big time saver. The sensors work great at avoiding even small items like dog toys. I noticed it doesn’t bang surfaces the way our other brand robot vacuum did. So far, 6 months in, I’m hoping for our investment this will last as I enjoy waking up to clean floors. The area that it cleans at night is far from our bedroom so we don’t hear it. These units are definitely on the pricier side and since we need three I expect them to last years. I hope their customer service improves and they provide more parts. Luckily I found a roller ball here on Amazon from another vendor that fit. Overall, I have recommended this to several friends and would likely purchase again but hope to not need to for a long time. ... show more

Not for pets. Leaves clumps of dog fur all over the house and rugs. I really had figured with the price, this robot wouldn’t have these problems, but unfortunately there are better robots (like the Dreame x50) The robot arm doesn’t work, couldn’t get it to even recognize a sock. If you don’t have pets, this may be alright, but don’t expect for it to pick anything up. And at $1999, they don’t even supply you with cleaning solution for the mop, which is absolutely insane for the price point. ... show more

  • A life saver with some awesome new technology A life saver with some awesome new technology
Color: Silver
The Roborock Saros Z70 is a wonderful companion and a bit of a life saver. Maintaining a household with kids, pets, and husband who can’t seem to figure out where to put his shoes can be crazy, but this But the Roborock Saros Z70 saves the day. The robot with makes it floors pristine, moves my husbands shoes to their proper place with its arm, and handles my dogs hair like a pro. The arm is an incredible feature I have been using it to create zones for shows and also testing it out collecting dog toys, socks, and tissues. Roborock says they are going to be adding more things the robot can interact with using the arm and I am greatly looking forward to that. The robots cleaning ability is truly spectacular. It has edge sweeping and mopping that makes reaching places that normal robotic vacuums struggle to get to a breeze. The vacuum gets under the edges of cabinets and tight corner spaces. The device has truly minimized my need for manual mopping and cleans up muddy paw prints and my husband’s muddy foot prints with ease. The obstacle avoidance and detection are excellent its identifies moves, and avoids all the things it should. The Roborock Saros Z70’s ability to lift its self over thresholds, and furniture with U shaped legs is awesome. It navigates extremely well. The all in one dock that removes the mop pads when they are being cleaned saves time and the robot does a great job just plain cleaning as it should. All fully customizable through the app. You can specify no go zones pet areas. On the note of pets, the vacuum will take cute snapshots of you pet as it sees them through the day and you can use the camera to look for them or check on the home throughout the day. Overall, the Roborock Saros Z70 is a great device and I would buy another in a heartbeat. The robot saves me so much time and the arm really is very helpful. This is the best robot I have ever used and I have had other Roborock vacuums which were also good in all fairness. It truly is a one stop cleaning solution with the self emptying dock, arm for organizing, and the mopping. If you are considering this robot, get it you will love it! ... show more

  • My Best Smart Assistant My Best Smart Assistant
Color: Silver
I have been using this Roborock Saros Z70 for over a month now. It’s been a total game-changer in my daily routine. The Saros Z70 is not just a vacuum robot, but a real smart assistant in everyday life. Well, I was surprised because I had apprehensions over spending so much on a new floor cleaner. I was wrong, the Z70 is a great little machine. I was never satisfied with other robotic cleaners they just bumped around the house got tangled up in wires and barely cleaned. I wasn’t convinced that a new one with a “Mop” would work. We have a large house, so the “MOP” features impressed me. I don’t have to mix the cleaning fluid with the water, the Z70 does that. The water container stores enough water so that I don’t need to add any during a mopping cycle. Surprise of all surprises, it really does clean the floor. There are plenty of programming choices that can be programmed. Sweep, Mop, Both, Whole House, Single Room. When the battery is low it docks, recharges and goes back where it left off to continue the cycle. I like being able to control it from my phone and also found the online tutorials useful to explain the setup of the cleaners features. Yes, it does have a robotic arm and it will pickup small items and move them for you. Cleaning performance is top-notch - with 22,000Pa* suction power, the Saros Z70 effectively lifts dirt, dust, and debris from various floor surfaces. Built for efficiency, it delivers strong suction while keeping maintenance simple and easy. Upgraded Hot Water Mopping accelerates the breakdown of tough stains. Plus, its slim design means it can sneak under furniture where dirt loves to hide. The docking station is amazing—it empties the dustbin, washes the mop, and even dries it with hot air. what a low maintenance! I do like this cleaner enough that if I was given the choice again whether or not to buy it, I’d do it again. Overall, the Roborock Saros Z70 has exceeded my expectations in every way. • So worth it So worth it
Color: Black
We absolutely love this robot vacuum and mop. This is actually our third Roborock because we’ve upgraded twice over the years and now have one on each level of our house. This model has been perfect for our main level where there’s constant traffic, kids, crumbs, dog hair, and random daily messes. The vacuuming and mopping performance are both great, and it does a really good job navigating around everything without constantly getting stuck. The robot arm is honestly so cool and the kids are obsessed with watching it work. We jokingly named her D3 for Mrs. Doubtfire #3 It’s definitely expensive, but for us it has made keeping the house clean so much easier. After almost a year with it, I’d absolutely buy it again and look forward to the next model. ... show more

  • Just OK.
Color: Black
I have this as 3 stars because I’m still unsure about it. I have 3 rooms with a thicker carpet and had just shredded paper and had a couple piece laying around on the floor. When I had the robot to clean the room, it went over it twice to make sure to pick it up but I ended up having to pick it up the shreds by hand whereas when my Qrevo (5,000 suction power) would pick all that up and make one sweep over dirt before he went wonky. This vacuum may have 22,000 suction power but is it worth it if the vacuum is so short in heigh it doesn’t have any air control to help pick up? With everything the vacuum offers maybe they can do an update to raise it to maximum height when on carpet. The arm is a very cool idea, I have it turned on, but it has yet to pick anything up. It spent 4 minutes evaluating measuring deciding and not coming through when it tried to pick up shoes to put in the shoe zone. It does however have a robot arm control feature where you can pick things up with it but that’s kind of useless if I’m not home and can’t control it or even am home because then I can just pick things up before hand. The arm feature shows it has updates coming soon so we will see how well he does in a couple months when I come back for an updated review. The mop itself is nice though and I do like the swivel out arm to get the corners better. Also has a tray to fit cleaning solution and I really like that design which is one of the #1 things that sold me on this vacuum over another Qrevo. Edit: so I gave it a try a little longer. I’ve ran it about every day. Doesn’t get close to the entry way carpets if you have the setting turned on to drop the mops and vacuum first then go back and get them to mop afterwards. I tried it several times and never got the spot cleaned up from my kids muddy shoes and just had a get my mop out and clean it. Skipped over the areas I had shoes in the way purposely to see if it would come back and pick them up or move them, and it didn’t saying couldn’t pick up that type of shoe after measuring it several times and going from spot to spot trying to see if it would fit anywhere. I’m a diehard roborock user but for it to be just OK, this doesn’t even come close to the Qrevos. ... show more

  • S7 MaxV Ultra vs. Saros Z70 S7 MaxV Ultra vs. Saros Z70
Color: Black
Overall I’m enjoying the Saros Z70 so far, I purchased it to upgrade from my S7 MaxV Ultra. The S7 was my first robot vacuum and at the time a revered unit as it had unmatched suction, mopping, and overall efficiency compared to its competitors. Unfortunately the cliff sensors on it became saturated with moisture and after doing multiple repairs on this unit in the past I just let it sit as the cliff sensor repair was pretty in depth and expensive. Since that time it seems like other brands have caught up to Roborock’s innovation, however they’re the only brand I’m aware of that makes a vacuum with an extendable arm, so since I was able to get the Z70 for 50% off I had to try it out. Comparing the Z70 to the S7 MaxV Ultra both certainly have their individual advantages, but overall are pretty similar units. Regarding the actual robot (not the dock), I liked how the z70 has the LiDAR sensor built into the machine, not protruding to be able to fit under lower furniture, this feature paired with the extendable side brushes and extendable mop heads are a huge upgrade and makes its cleaning ability that much more thorough. Another difference in design between these models which has to be considered with the extendable arm is how small the dust bin is on the z70, its tiny. At first I had no idea how it would hold any dirt but after letting the dustbin get full a few times I found that the self-emptying function on the dock is able to get the dust bin fully clean. Whereas on the S7 MaxV Ultra my biggest gripe was having to constantly manually clean the dustbin, the dock on that model could never get the dustbin clean in any way. So despite the z70’s small dustbin size it does actually work in relation to the S7’s. Comparing their cleaning efficiency seems to be similar, despite the z70 claiming to have 4x the suction power of the S7. The mop heads on the z70 are round and spin compared to the s7’s vibrating mop pad, I do prefer the spinning mop heads as they seem like they’re cleaning more efficiently than the vibrating pad, especially with the heated water, but time will tell on this feature. I am also finding the battery life on the z70 is much better than the S7, it seems to be able to do more on a charge and recharge much faster. Not to mention the z70’s dock comes with a much safer plug, the S7’s dock came with a plug that needed an adapter for US outlets, and it was very sketchy as it would ark and spark when being plugged in or nudged. That adapter always seemed like a huge fire risk to me so I’m glad they now have a power plug with a built in 3 prong cord. One thing I did find interesting with the z70 is how if it gets stuck, it acts a lot more aggressively than the S7 when trying to get itself out. When the S7 would get caught on something it would simply reverse a few times, essentially try to wiggle its way out of the spot, and quickly give up. The z70 will recognize that it’s stuck, and out of nowhere floor it in reverse with decent speed. While this may be efficient in getting the robot unstuck, i can see this being a pretty decent safety risk if it bumps into a table with a candle or something similar when going in reverse so quickly. Regarding the extendable arm, it’s cool but that’s about it. It still seems like it’s in its beta stage in terms of the amount of items it’s able to recognize and pick up, I tried it out last night by placing a ball of paper on the ground. It took it a long time to figure out what it was, over a minute, and after that minute the arm came out, picked up the piece of paper after dancing around it a few times, and then once the z70 picked up the paper it didn’t know what to do with it. Perhaps I have to program the storage areas more but that’s as far as I got with the extendable arm, don’t expect it to be your personal maid as much as a party trick, over time I’m hoping it will be able to pick up and store dog bones/toys. It’s a solid vacuum that I do enjoy, but I don’t think it’s worth $2500 or even $2000 due to the fact that it’s so similar to the S7 MaxV ultra in terms of its cleaning efficiency. At $1200 or less it is a fantastic vacuum, the dock on the Z70 is a huge upgrade in terms of looks and function and the z70 does have its perks in comparison. ... show more
