Features

  • Note: Please notice the robot vacuum condition before buying.
  • Note: The robot vacuum will report "charging" when it's connected with the charging dock correctly. Otherwise, the device might not be in charge mode. The dirty charging contacts will cause two charging contacts at bottom of the robot will not well attached to the ones on the charging dock, please clean the charging contacts regularly. Please kindly double confirm if the charging cable and the slot of the dock are well connected. Push the cable head into the slot at bottom of the dock very hard.
  • Note: After spot cleaning or a significant position change, the robot will re-generate the map. If the charging dock is too far away, it may not be able to return to the dock and must be placed on the charging dock manually. When the robot is cleaning, please do not move it manually to avoid getting lost direction and unable to return to the dock. The robot will not return to the dock for mop washing if it does not start from the dock or no dock is found on the app map.
  • Roborock robot vacuum only supports 2.4G WiFi. However, since most routers support both 2.4G and 5G, to ensure the machine's stability, it is recommended to switch to 2.4G WiFi when using the robot by following the instructions of your router setup.
  • Forget About Cleaning, Really. With Roborocks all-in-one docking system, S8 Pro Ultra can automatically complete the mop washing and drying process, preventing unpleasant odors. Auto self-emptying with a large dust bag allows holding for up to 7 weeks of dust. The dock even cleans itself and refills the robot water tank for you, extending its mopping range to up to 3230 sqft (300 sqm). Just set it and forget it.
  • Double Brushes, Double Cleaning. Roborocks newest dual rubber brush system provides a cleaner effect in one go and fewer hair tangles. The more powerful 6000Pa suction drives the robot vacuum to pick up debris, hair, dust, and more from hard floors and carpets more quickly. You can even choose different suction modes in the app based on the degree of dirt, with the highest mode being Max+.
  • Upgraded VibraRise 2.0 Mopping System. The VibraRise 2.0 improves its vibration module from 1 area to 2 areas, providing a wider mopping zone, up to 3000 times/min high-speed scrubbing, and over 6N consistent mopping pressure, stains from soda to dried-on spills and more can be cleaned deeply and more effectively. You can choose different water flows in the app based on the floor material to achieve better mopping effects. For areas with stubborn stains, it is recommended to use the High mode.
  • Liftable Brushes and Mop Offer You More. The liftable brushes and mop can separate vacuuming and mopping in a single clean, maximizes the cleaning effectiveness for different tasks such as carpets cleaning and hard floor cleaning, and avoids leaving stains after a clean. If an entrapping threshold is set in the app, the brushes and mop will both lift automatically and help the robot climb it more easily.
  • Reactive 3D Obstacle Avoidance. With 3D structured light and infrared image technology, Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is smart enough to identify unknown objects on the floor, determine their size and location, and bypass them in both bright and dark environments. Paired with LiDAR navigation and 3D mapping, detailed maps are generated for more accurate and customized cleaning.
  • *Only support 2.4G WiFi.

  • Amazing Robot Vacuum
Color: Black
We've put off getting a robot vacuum over concerns about how well it would work. Roborock came highly recommended by someone with a sitation similar to ours, a dog that sheds heavily requiring frequent vacuuming. We are amazed at how good a job it does picking up pet hair and in general, and how easy it is to set up and use. Unboxing and putting together the base was easy. We found a nice place for it in an office between a bookcase and grandfather clock. After you create an account, install the app and get everything connected to your Wifi (2.4 GHz only), the first step is to charge the robot and then map your house. Their sensing technology makes this a snap, it senses objects and perimiters with a quick pass through a room without having to exhaustively explore every boundary and obstacle. It really goes fast, there is no reason not to completely map a floor. The app includes map edit features to split and merge areas, making it easy to organize the map into rooms that you can then name. The check mark icon on some screens is a save button, you need to use it to permanently save certain changes like room names. The app also lets you identify wood and tile floor surfaces, and the board direction of wood flooring. An app setting defaults to having the robot vacuum along the direction of the floor boards rather than going across them. The robot automatically senses carpet and adjusts itself to the carpet thickness and height, updating the map to identify carpeted areas. The robot has had no trouble with transitions between differnent types of flooring. We have a one story home with primarily hardwood floors and carpet. The only moppable surfaces are some small rooms with tile/grout flooring, and so far we have only vacuumed. We have not filled the clean water tank, which produces app warnings and a steady red light on the base but does not prevent vacuuming. There are five vacuum strength settings, we use the middle setting and it vacuums about 1200 sq ft of floor, mostly wood, in an hour and forty minutes with 40% battery remaining. It really does a great job, there's little noticeable difference between the job it does and the job we did manually. The only thing it might miss are places it just can't fit. Obstacle avoidance is incredibly smart, it identifies and avoids a row of shoes in our back hall if we don't pick them up. Area rugs are the only thing that require special consideration. A heavier area rug that doesn't easily bend or get pushed around is no problem, but a flimsy area rug or an area rug with fringe can be a problem. We've figured out which rugs need to be temporarily picked up or folded under themselves and which can be left down. Now that we know the drill takes us about 5 minutes to prepare for vacuuming, no big deal. We haven't set a schedule. When we want to vacuum we prepare, open the app and select vacuum only, select the rooms we want vacuumed and go. For spot cleaning you can simply define an area to clean. It couldn't be much easier. The robot shows its progress on the map while it vacuums, you can follow it using the app. You can install the app on multiple devices and follow or control the robot from any one of them. It also updates the map as it goes, placing icons where it might find a new obstacle. You can remove these and it will ignore whatever it saw there in the future. For example, it thought a small round foot on a TV stand was animal waste and put a poop emoji icon at the corner of the stand. This is good, the last thing you want is the robot smearing pet waste all over itself and the floor, a definite "better safe than sorry" situation. If you mapped a floor but closed the door to a room, we found you can add the room later by leaving the door open when you vacuum outside the door. The robot will "see" the open door, poke its nose into the room and add it to the map without fully mapping it. Later you can tell the robot to vacuum the newly found room and it will fully explore it when it does, completing the mapping. We've been using the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra for almost two months now and couldn't be happeir with it. It is easy to set up and use, does a great job, and has given us no problems of any kind. It feels solid and well made, is easy to clean, parts that wear are readily available, and the battery is replaceable when the time comes. This device seems incredibly smart and well designed. ... show more

  • My best friend in floor cleaning!
Color: Black
This is my second Roborock S8 Pro Ultra. I bought the first S8 Pro Ultra a year ago, and I love it so much that I want to get a second one to clean the other wing of our house. When I saw that the same model was on sale on Amazon this April, I immediately ordered this unit. I really like the way it vacuums and mops the floor for me. Using the app on my phone, I can customize the cleaning modes any way I like (vacuum only / mop / vacuum then mop...etc) and I can tell it which room I want cleaned. I also set some schedule for regular cleaning. We have a golden retriever and this vacuum handles dog hair without any problem. No more tangled hair in the vacuum brush (there is no brush in this vacuum). Everything just gets cleaned up without any problem. I highly recommend this product, especially to dog owners! ... show more

  • A sad sad headache - Migraine sized headache!
Color: Black
I purchased the Roborock s8 Pro Ultra in March of 2024 to replace my older model Roborock s4 Max. The s4 was a fantastic machine and made my life so much easier, until it met with an accident and I couldn't save it. We waved a fond farewell and I set out to purchase another Roborock machine. The S8 Pro Ultra looked like a great upgrade! Self emptying, even included a mop for all my tiled floors! It was billed as being especially good with pet hair due to the dual brush system. For the first 2 months it was everything it advertised. Pet hair? No problem. Mopping? Oh la la! And then the 3rd month rolled around and it all came to a screeching halt. The first issue was pet hair, left in little clumps everywhere - spit out by Max as he rolled around the house. Then it was clogged brushes. I had been cleaning them once a week, now they required daily cleaning just to avoid the error messages. And still - pet hair clumps were being left indiscriminately around the house. Mopping stopped - full stop. Oh sure, I did all the proper things to prepare it to mop, and I sent it out to do just ONE room, thinking maybe 2 rooms was too much. Nope, it didn't mop a single spot off the floor. And my floors aren't very dirty! Just a few splotches where people dripped water or coffee on the floor. I changed out the mop pad - which looked brand new. Didn't help - the thing still wasn't doing any cleaning. I tinkered, my husband tinkered. We gave up and I went back to using my steam mop. And then the floors started collecting not just pet hair, but also dust and bits of stuff. I turned the vacuum up to Turbo settings, charged it up and sent it out again - to do just ONE room. It returned, emptied and sure enough, it hadn't picked up any dirt. I tinkered. The dirt cup was completely full, as in compacted with dirt and fur. So I figured the bag in the docking station must be full, right? WRONG! It was nice and clean. Clearly this was my error. I must not have positioned the bag correctly when I replaced it in June. So I tinkered with it more. I replaced the clean, empty bag with a new bag, just in case it had a hole in it or some other issue that kept it from completing the sucking-out-the-dirt-cup mode. Ran the vacuum on my floors with totally cleaned brushes, sensors and dirt cup. It worked - mostly. Still left cat hair clumps here and there, and some toast crumbs, but the carpets looked fairly nice. It returned to the dock and did the sucking-out-the-dirt-cup thing. And then I checked the bag in the docking station. Yay, it was working and the dirt cup in the vacuum was empty! Problem solved, yes? No! I no longer use the mop feature because it just plain doesn't work anymore. And I clean the brushes daily. And I have to manually clean out the dirt cup every third use. Because the empty mode only works for 3 days before it just makes a lot of noise and pretends that it's working. This $1500 (price when I purchased it) piece of technology has flaws. It needs a LOT of R&D and a redesign before it will be fit to be sold as a vacuum, let alone a mopping system. Save yourself the migraine sized headache and opt for one of their cheaper models. Sure, you'll have to empty the dirt cup yourself and you won't be able to mop floors with it, but you also won't be pulling your hair out and cussing at the machine every other day! ... show more
