What’s even better is that it comes with a remote so I don’t have to get up and turn the lamp on. I love remotes! There is also a step-on control at the bottom of the light. All I need to do is to step on it and the lamp turns on. There is so much more to this remote that is for the lamp. I can set the remote for a 1-hour timer, obviously I can turn the lamp on or off, I can choose between natural light, there is a color temperature switch, a working light, I can turn up or down on the brightness, there is a nightlight mode, and even a reading mode. So many decisions to make with this floor lamp. It was great that the lightbulb was included. It looks like a tv remote since it has so many options. Very, very easy to control. I am also impressed with the black finish, and angle of the lamp. There are so many parts to this lamp that work well with my home. I’m thrilled with the lamp as a whole, plus the price is wonderful. Def love my choice on this lamp.

Really like that there is the dimming feature. Being able to control the amount of light provided by this lamp is a huge plus. This allows us to easily set the tone of the room, whether it's for backlighting during movie time or more brightness while sharing a meal. We love having the remote control, especially if we're all cuddled up on the couch and someone needs a bit of brightness to guide them past the dogs who are always sleeping on the floor nearby. This floor lamp is so great, it is super easy to put together in less than 10 minutes. Everything just screws together and the lamp shade clips onto the metal and Velcro shuts. It comes with a light bulb, any E26 dimmable bulb works, a remote, and instructions. The remote and lamp are awesome, with a press of a button you can change the color of the light to a yellow, normal, or bright white light, and all have dimming options for night or day. I wondered about how sturdy this would be, I didn't want my frisky animals to knock it over, but it is perfectly stable with no wobble or lean. Heavy enough to stand straight but light enough to move around if needed. Has a nice look to it and makes any room better.

I really like the looks of this lamp. I am totally perplexed by the random dimming, getting brighter, turning off and turning on. This includes turning itself on in the middle of the night! No thunderstorms, no lightning, no power problems. Since I received no directions I have idea what to do. Guess I will return it 😔.
