The media could not be loaded. This is a phenomenal vaccuum. I've heard bad things about robot cleaners, not being smart, just roaming around aimlessly, etc. That's not this one at all. It really analyzes the room and the things it needs to avoid. The mopping portion isn't worth it. I just keep the pad off, but for vacuuming, it works wonders. I will say that the one thing it gets confused on is my dining room table. It will circle it a lot, running the battery down some, trying to figure out how to navigate the chair and table legs, but I can have it avoid that area as well. The cross pattern it does on the carpets looks beautiful and it picks up so well. It would make more sense and maybe it does on future models to make the rollers go the length of the machine, for more coverage and less passes, but it really does well. I have to pick it up and take it to the upper level with it's bad to have it clean up there, but it's easy enough and just takes a minute. This is the robot vaccuum to get. No guess work or bumping and hoping it will cover the area, the app is the best of the others out there according to the reviews, and you can see where it's cleaned on the app to see how mythodical it is when it's doing its job. My best purchase in years. Love it for my home and got my mother to get the same one as well. The battery life is ok. It does drain moderately, but it depends on the size of your area. One pass on quick clean won't be a problem even for a large floor size. Doing cross pattern, essentially running over everything twice in different directions, it will be close to dead on a small floor size when done. The good news is it will dock around 20% battery and pick up where it left off when charged enough. Just wait until you see how full the dust bin gets after a few uses and there will be no question how well this thing picks up. It even does decent on high pile rugs, but it does hit the occasional snag, but it recovered itself after spinning around. You just need to pickup before letting it do its thing and you'll come back to floors that look like a model home. I'm talking like the cross pattern lawns you see. Love this thing. Kids named him Dusty.

Truly the best robot vacuum! Easily mapped my house and cleans very efficiently. Fully customizable - you can set a cleaning schedule, change the suction/mop levels, and create no-go zones and invisible walls. Dust bin size is amazing! I can let it run 2-3 times before needing to empty it. Works great at picking up hair and dust from my dogs. Relatively quiet on normal setting. A lifesaver if you have pets!

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the Roborock Q8 Max for a few days and overall, I’m really happy with it. The vacuuming performance is excellent it’s powerful, quiet, and navigates very well around furniture. The app is easy to use and scheduling daily cleanings is super convenient. Mopping also works really well on hard floors, and I like that I can just attach the mop module a few times a week when needed. The water tank is easy to remove and refill once you get the hang of it. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because, while the robot does detect carpet, it doesn’t automatically lift the mop to avoid it meaning if you don’t manually set up a no-mop zone, it will still go over your rugs or carpets with the wet pad. Once I figured out how to set the no-mop zones in the app, everything worked smoothly, but it’s something new users should be aware of. If Roborock added automatic mop-lifting like in their higher-end models, this would easily be a 5-star product. But for the price, it’s an amazing vacuum/mop combo that’s well worth it.

This is our 2nd Roborock vac. and an upgrade. We don't use the mop feature but very easy to turn off in the app on the phone. The suction is very good and ability for it to clean up dog hair is great. The container is a bit smaller but expected since it is a vacuum and mop combo, so they split the space. Some odd reason it does a good job at condensing all the dog hair and compacting it down. Easy to get 2 days' worth of cleaning that runs x2 per day, before having to empty out. Roborocks are noisy but most robot vacuums are, Max and Max+(Cyclone) are very powerful, but the noise is greater with those settings, so use at your own risk for noise control. The changing floor material feature where it changed its suction rate on its own on hardware vs carpet or rugs is very nice and does a great job overall. These rollers are rubber in material and a great if you have animals with longer hair, previous Roborock had the rubber plus bristles -- hair was constantly wound around the brushes and had to be attended to daily. This is much better and no tangles or wraps to undo. Also, cleaning is relatively easy and quick as the important cleaning areas are easy to navigate and get to and properly clean. The software is very easy to setup and configure with very good options for cleaning functions. For the money, I would highly recommend a Roborock over any of the other big Robovac brands as the quality is top notch and the device moves very easily and efficiently.
