I was hoping for a an affordable power rack that would allow me to do , 450 lb squat and 315 bench press at home and some basic back and arm pull downs .. This rack is very sturdy well engineered for its price range . The lat pull down attachments are very good home gym quality.. I work on heavy equipment for a living so I might have an advantage of some when it comes to assembling the equipment and getting it to work smoothly . Putting the rack together was very straight forward .. I used cordless power tools to assist me . I left everything a little loose while assembling to allow wiggle room when lining up parts and hardware .. I referred back to the illustrated images often and they proved helpful . The only portion not fully covered was the extra length of chain for the back row cable . I have noticed several other reviews mention a problem with the cable not long enough, they seem to have not attached the extra length of chain included with the kit , as it is not easily understood by reading the instruction manual but the pictures from the product page has the images of the correct final assembly . Referring to the images I was able to complete the assembly My pulley assembly was missing 1 bushing but the company has already sent out a replacement part .. I had high strength chain and bolts in my garage that I used instead of the extra chain in the kit . The chain and screw on links can be purchased cheap at any hardware store . the 2nd picture is what I used . also I used some gorilla tape to hold the plastic bushing in place on the pull down assembly. finally when everything was assembled I used silicone lube to coat the chrome plated lat pull-down bar and plastic bushings I’m using the extra chain and clamps that came with the gym on the pull down bars and triceps rope for pull downs .. Overall this is a great home gym IMO Better than expected .. It holds 450 lb with no problem and comes with commercial gym quality safety guards I bought an extra set of J-hooks for benching . The set it comes with are fine but I didn’t want to keep switching them around when going from squats to bench. The plate holders work well but are a little to close to the rack at the top rung and there is a chance of interference with the bar weights when doing squats inside the power rack , not a huge concern but something to watch out for , the pull up bar has multiple hand grips The dip bars also are good I don't use them much but they work fine . I also purchased some other accessories like ankle clips so I can do hamstring and inside and outside leg raises , so with the extra length of chain and the bar lubed up with silicone the whole assembly works smoothly and way better than expected . the product comes with everything you need but adding a few finishing touches like gorilla taping the bushing in place and lubing up the moving parts with silicone lube I think will help a lot , Again overall I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it as a affordable home gym equipment option ..

This is a really solid rack. For a 2x2 it is really sturdy and it looks great in person. The size of it might not be best for everyone, but as long as you measure your space before hand there won't be any surprises. I'm 6'3 with long limbs and am able to use the rack with no issues despite it being on the smaller side inside the cage. The attachments are all really solid pieces with good weight to all of them. The j-hooks and landmine feel great to use, while the plate holders are decent. The dip bar attachments are probably the weakest link here, they feel solid but are extremely uncomfortable to use. If I was going to update any of the attachments, the first would be the dip bars. The next would be the lat pull down bar. They have the same rubber grips and are both quite uncomfortable. The pull up bar, though, offers multiple gripping positions and feels great. The landmine attachment is solid, I see no reason to replace it. The pulldown attachment works. The motion across the whole range is consistent but it does feel like it drags a bit. The components are a mixture of metal and plastic, and upgrading the pulleys would probably go a long way towards making this part of the rack more enjoyable to use. Still, it does the job. It does well enough that I'm content that I did not spring the extra money for a more premium rack. For the money you are spending you really cannot beat this if you want all the accessories.

The cage was shipped promptly. I was given one Fed Ex tracking number and received one medium sized box. However it does come in two boxes. The second 80” box arrived the next day. It took me a little over three hours to assemble. This may have gone faster if the instructions had been better written. Note it comes with two open end wrenches, but that would take forever. Use one wrench and one 17” socket. A rubber mallet is also handy to “persuade” the upper assembly. Instructions refer to each part number, however none of the parts or hardware are actually numbered. I figured it out without too much effort. It is pretty straightforward except for the pulley system. The three top pulleys require installing two pulley pegs (one on each side). Directions show one per pulley. The bottom and floating pulleys do not use any pegs. I’ve had this one week and really enjoy the versatility and large combination of workouts you can perform. I placed the landline on the inner upright only because I have space limitations and needed to keep the bar on my floor mats. It worked great Aside from the instructions lacking some clarity, I only have two minor complaints. First, the floating weight section has a plastic insert on the top and bottom. They pop out very easily. I fixed this by wrapping them with 1” black duct tape as seen in the third picture. Easy fix and you can barely see the tape. The pull up has a chrome ring that sits in front of the ball. For seated rowing it works as designed, but if you use it for curls, the ring floats down the cable (thanks gravity) and gets caught. Again easily fixed with some black tape to keep the ring affixed to the ball. Note this is not a flaw as they never said it was for curls, but I wanted to use it that way. See picture 4. I bought a tricep rope separately and it works great. I will get another pull up bar because the one provided is 15” wide and I’d prefer a rotating 19”. I also bought a barbell pad and it works great for squats. I answered some frequent questions posed by others. This will accept 1” and 2” Olympic plates. The pull up bar cannot be inverted. I don’t see any way to do that given the design and it must be installed to stabilize the unit. Also note I have a 6’ barbell which fits great, but anything smaller would not be wide enough to rest on the supports. Mine is not bolted to the floor, but the weight of the cage and added plate weights provides plenty of stability. Overall this is a great unit for the cost. Despite the minor issues described, I still would purchase. If not for those, I would have given 5 stars. Hope this helps.
