I was hesitant to buy these because of some of the bad reviews, but I took a chance and I'm so happy I did. These chairs are so beautiful. I put them together myself in probably a few hours (mostly because I have a baby, or it would have gone fast lol). They assembled very easy and the instructions were clear and simple to follow. The pieces came wrapped so well it was almost annoying to unwrap. I will say this, follow the instructions. Don't tighten everything until you are done. I think that is the issue alot of people have with holes not lining up. If you leave the screws loose, it allows movement so everything can line up correctly. I just assembled them today, so can't speak for longevity. But I'm so happy I got them. ... show more

These are beautiful. Better than I thought they were going to be! They are sturdy and well made. Very easy to put together. I was worried that the green might be off from our paint color but it goes together well. Walls are a Spanish olive color and the chairs are like a shade darker. The cushions feel very sturdy. They are a little stiff you don't sink into them. But the backing on them is a game changer if you have stools without the back... definitely worth the upgrade. They hold a lot of weight as well. Arrived with damage to the frames due to poor packaging, bent pieces and screw holes stripped. Also, one of the seat cushions had footprints from a man’s work boot on them. As if someone at the factory had been standing on one of the cushions. These could not be assembled, dealing with the manufacturer after more than 10 emails back-and-forth yielded no results. I was confused when these barstools arrived because they literally were in the tiniest boxes. It was like assembling a piece of IKEA furniture, a ton of little pieces and screws, but when it all came together, it was worth it! They are a very good value for the money, they are super stable when you sit on them, and they appear to be much higher quality than the cost suggests. We got some of the seat, upholstery dirty when we were assembling, and it cleaned up very easily with a little bit of soap and water.
