I originally felt like giving it less stars, not because of the product itself, but because of how LONG IT TOOK TO GET IT! First, waited 3 weeks or more, then they LOST IT somewhere and they had to refund it and I had to REORDER IT AGAIN (YES, AFTER WAITING THAT LONG FOR IT) I had to wait ANOTHER 3 PLUS WEEKS for it to actually show up this time, but they way it was delivered was awful! We have used this about daily for over 4 months now and I wanted to finally submit a review saying if you are considering it and still on the fence, GO FOR IT! I went back and forth about it for quite some time and can now say I am glad we went for it. The bench is a great size and very sturdy and has all the inclines I need plus the decline. I am 5’5 so I am a little short to hinge at the hips on the decline for a hamstring curl, but it hasn’t been an true obstacle for that exercise, I just lay more flat. The adjustable rack positions has made squats and presses so convenient to do and the pulley system runs perfectly smooth for us. We do have it on carpet so have not experienced any sliding, but even with heavy pulls, there is minimal swaying… not even anything close to any tilting concerns. We are happy with this purchase and can tell it will last us a very long time! Assembly was time consuming, and you must pay close attention to the order of things so you don’t have to back track! ... show more

    • Great equipment, not so great packaging
The rack itself is is great and replaces one I had from Mpex. The reason for the 4 stars is that the manual only included exploded diagrams, no written steps. The writen steps are useful for the order of assembly, which does make a difference. But you can find them online so not a showstopper, just annoying. The other issue is, its all in one box and weighs 150lbs. Needless to say, it arrived a bit beat up and very hard to bring inside the house. Maybe if it was in 2 boxes (one for the bench and one for the rack) it would be a little more manageable. Overall though I am satisfied with the purchase. ... show more

Writing this review early although it hasn’t been completely been put to use.Bought this for my wife’s Xmas gift so she hasn’t seen it yet and put it together early in the garage for the surprise factor. However, I wanted potential buyers to know that this cage is extremely sturdy and stable enough comparatively as a professional gym experience in your home. Instructions were comprehensive and detailed. Every nut and bolt was accompanied with number and instruction. This is a very well designed and cost conscious product. Highly recommend. ... show more

Like others have said, the packaging could definitely use improvement. The box was broken at one end and the delivery men had to collect loose parts from inside the truck. They also couldn't deliver it to my room of choice because of the size and weight of the box, so I had to settle for the middle of the living room and then take each part down to the basement myself piece by piece. I really think this should be split into at least 2 boxes. It doesn't come with step by step assembly instructions for some unknown reason, but I was able to download them from their website. I put it together by myself yesterday and it took me all afternoon into the evening. But I'm a petite woman so it definitely would've been quicker with 2 people or with a taller, stronger person. The instructions were easy to follow for the most part, and luckily there were no missing or broken parts from the damaged box. I did get confused by the fact that the only 2 parts that are labeled as right or left are labeled backwards (when facing the rack, the tall support on the left is labeled as right, and vice versa). Also the instructions for attaching the pulleys weren't the best. The final product seems very strong and sturdy. I did have one bolt that won't tighten all the way, but it isn't affecting the function or stability at all. I'm going to try to find a replacement bolt at the hardware store anyway. I bought a 7 foot barbell as recommended by the company, but it seems longer than necessary. I will use it for a while and maybe buy a shorter one too eventually. Overall I think it was a great purchase and I'm happy with it. I noticed it costs 100 bucks more now than when I bought it, but it still seems like a good deal compared to other similar systems. ... show more
