As advertised. Stripped several layers of paint off some old stairs with no problem. The vacuum works very well, used it inside without an issue. Kinda tough to get the bag on and off sometimes and make sure you empty it often.

Rigid tools are priced a little high in my opinion. They work well and the batteries are all compatible between the 18v power tools, but I just don’t get why they are priced the way they are. Still, they work great and I have a bunch. This sander fits all those descriptions. It was a little much to spend but I use it a ton. It does seem to run the batteries down fairly quickly but if you have a couple to use, you can charge one while you use the other. I like the Velcro pad attachment—makes changing the sand paper quick and easy. The little dust collector is simple to use and empty when it’s full. I’m also surprised at how comfortable this is to run. My hands do not get overly fatigued when I use this. ... show more

Tool I received is as advertised. I bought the Ridgid brand because of the lifetime warranty. Found out when trying to register this tool that when buying through Mart23LLC there is no warranty through Ridgid. If I had known, I probably would have purchased directly through Home Depot. Just be aware that buying through Mart23llc will not get you any tool warranty. ... show more

This is a little powerhouse of a sander. Can use it for long periods without it getting too heated. The attached vacuum works really well for catching all those fine dust particles. Would for sure recommend this sander.
