  • Great locator
This item has worked very well for us. So well that we've purchased a second. It can be attached to nearly anything and sent down a pipe, duct or conduit to be traced and located.

  • If f’ng worked. See my videos
The media could not be loaded. I put in the battery. I put the transmitter in a rubber glove and I used electrical tape to fasten the sonde on my unplugged roll of cam cord from the crappy Anyson I had. I sent the transmitter in till it hit first bend. I turned on my scout locator and pointed it like a gun sweep in the area I think it was headed. I pin point the forward going and rea for direction by placing a red and yellow floor marker supplied with the Ridgid scout. I then push cam farther till I am jamming but won’t pass. I take 1 final marker and pin down the blockage that is unlassable and I dig it out on video for you and upload to this review. I discovered I can do better than most using this $407 delivered and the scout I got used on eBay $1101 delivered. Try and beat that. You can’t buy an equal experience for less. Period. ... show more
