Overall: good value for what you get. Workmanship could be better. These bars don't make any road noise that we've noticed at any speed. Easy to put together and install, took maybe half an hour at a casual, slow pace. I suggest a good stepstool or ladder to make installation easier. All of the components are marked with either "front"/"rear", or "right"/"left" to make sure that everything gets assembled correctly. The instructions are pretty plain, but straightforward and easy to understand. Make sure to read them all the way through, and check you have all the parts accounted for before starting assembly! They mount up to our Toyota Highlander Limited perfectly, with no modifications. I added pictures of the mounting type required for these to work because I guess there's some model variance on third generation Highlanders. When assembling, the bars don't slip entirely onto the plastic angled brackets. I added pictures of how they hang too far out, but are still functional. One had a screw that was mis-threaded by the factory, but I was able to chase the threads and make it work again. The plastic covers that go over the brackets didn't seem like they'd stay on, as they just clip on and pop off. I had read other reviews on a similar product (same Chinese manufacturer as all of them in this price range) that said these covers actually flew off while driving, so in a preventative measure, I wrapped the top part of them with black waterproof tape to ensure they can't fly off, but should still be easy to remove if I need to later. They seem strong, and I don't have any suspicion that will come loose or fly off with a load on. The weight rating is 150 lbs. I believe, which is the same rating Toyota has on the roof rails. So that's handy. The little wrench that comes with this set was the wrong size, so I threw it away and used a socket & ratchet insead. I was planning on using proper tools anyways, but it's information that might be useful for the one person who reads this someday! Lol Shipping was fast, and packaging was undamaged upon arrival. Great deal for what you get!

I just installed these prior to writing the review. Thought I'd give my .02 since there aren't many reviews yet. This was a good alternative because I couldn't want to spend that much on the factory ones. I think I paid about $76. I needed these for my cargo box because we have an upcoming trip. Installation was easy, I watch a couple youtube videos. The only thing different I could see from these were that they do not include the square metal spacers that I saw one youtuber had to seat properly (don't think they are needed because they bolted down snug). Also the screws underneath to adjust the length were Phillips and not hex as the other brands like Brightlines and Autekcomma. Would save time if you put everything together but not wrench/screw anything tight until adjustments are made. Only thing I saw that was not perfect were the cheap rubber feet that may rip or deteriorate after a while. My review might change after having these on for while.
