The best way to describe my hair is beyond 4c. Listen, I never write reviews BUT!!!!! I am soooooo tender headed. I decided 3years ago to go natural to get rid of all the chemicals. So I did the big chop and my very very kinky course beyond 4c hair has been through some things trying to figure out how and what to do. I constantly have been getting it braided for the last 2 1/2 years . I use this brush on 370 today just enough to straighten my very kinky course ends and see what it would do. Honey 10 to 15 minutes max I have a lite press that I can pin up without my ends knotting and getting tangled up. If you don't want to add alot of heat but just enough to manage it without heat damaging your hair this is it. ... show more

This is a great brush. As stated it is for second, third day hair to refresh your blow out. For my very thick, medium length hair this works wonders and allows me to touch up my full head of hair in 5 minutes. You do not need long hair to use this brush. It's great for short hair too.

I am very satisfied with this brush. I had low expectations before as I have volume hair naturally. I wanted to reduce the volume and it definitely works. It gets about 5-10 minutes to achieve it. You can preset the desired temperature depending on what works best for your care. The brush is warming up in about 30 sec to the desired temperature. You can rotate it easily without rotating the cable which is very convenient. The only thing I can complain is the operational button located on the brush hand where you usually keep it. So, it can be pressed and switched off unintentionally. So you need to be aware of it and check you didn't press it from time to time during usage. I have mostly straight thinning, uncolored, very fine, med length, combination hair. I needed something to defrizz my hair and make it straighter. This did it and people noticed. I would NOT use this everyday though, only for special occasions as heat is horrible for hair... especially mine. Maybe give your hair some extra conditioning next you wash it after using it. ... show more
