I recently purchased this 12,000 BTU portable AC for $269 with a coupon—astonishingly just $1 more than the 10,000 BTU Honeywell unit I bought back in 2017. What’s even more impressive is that despite being 20% more powerful, it’s at least 30% (if not >) smaller than the old Honeywell. Setting it up was a breeze, and it cools efficiently with straightforward controls. The remote works flawlessly, and I love the vent placement, which I find superior to the typical top-position vents on most portable ACs. While it offers only low and high fan speeds, missing a mid-range setting, it’s not a major issue. One minor downside is that when the room reaches the desired temperature, the unit stops completely instead of switching to fan mode for continuous air circulation. Although I prefer constant airflow, this isn’t a deal breaker. Noise-wise, it’s quieter than my old Honeywell on both speed settings. My previous unit excelled in automatic water evaporation—I only had to empty the tank twice in eight years during extremely humid spells. Time will tell how this new unit performs in that regard. Finally given the fact that this is a no-name Chinese brand which may or may not exist in a couple of years or even over the one year warranty period--I’m taking a risk it’s manufactured at a minimum standard acceptable standard of quality and doesn’t fall apart or start giving problems soon. We shall see.

I've had this for about 4 months now. I use it in my bus when I'm connected to shore power. I live in Florida, it's about to be June, and temperatures are rising into the upper 90s. SO FAR SO GOOD. Can't speak to its longevity but sometimes I run it 24 hours a day and while it's not cooling the entire bus, it keeps me comfortable so long as it's pointed in my general direction and I'm not too far away. For the cost, I'm pretty happy with that.

So far so good when there is inside smoke the air purifier goes from automatic to full power and the red light indicator comes on, meaning unhealthy air. About 10 minutes later the light comes back to green meaning it worked. I did notice that cooking orders were still noticeable, but the setting was on very low. Grade so far is an A. I had it for about 2 weeks so far.

It showed up as expected. It was easy to set up and fit my tall window very well. Just 2 small issues. 1. It does not seem to do a lot of dehumidifying as my wall unit (from the apt) does. 2. I had not expected to need to add some level of tap to seal the air gaps. My windows slide side by side. Be aware you may want to do something to help seal air leaks. On to the good things. A strong fan blows air around great. It is not too expensive to run. It is not huge, it sits below my window and is easy to walk around.

10,000BTU. More than enough to make my bedroom, living room AND kitchen crispy cold. I love it's smart, sleek design. The exhaust pipe is a thicker material and the way it connects to the AC by sliding in place is really convenient. It's small and doesn't take up a lot of space but it's powerful and effective. After trying different units, I've finally found what I was looking for.

I have a small enclosed patio and it gets hot out there during the mid-day no matter what time of year it is. If we have more than a handful of people it gets really hot. It is nice to be able to just turn the A/C and the room cools off in no time. It is small enough that we have plenty of room to walk around it. If we do need to move it there is never a problem because it has wheels. It runs quietly which is a huge plus. We are able to hear the music playing in the background and each other speaking while it is running. I am surprised at how easy it was to put it together. There is also a setting for a fan and a dehumidifier. I love both of those settings as well. It is so nice when the weather isn't that hot but it feels hot anyway because there are so many people back there. The dehumidifier has always helped on the days when the humidity is just too high. The one thing I really love is that it comes with a remote so I can adjust it from across the room.
