The Wet brush is the best and most comfortable brush I've ever used. I have fine thin hair, but it tangles very easily. The Wet brush detangles gently, but has enough bristles to also smooth hair down. It's soft on the scalp and actually is ok to use on wet hair. They don't get tangled into hair the way round brushes can, but can still be used to turn hair up or under while drying. I've been using Wet Brushes for years and decided to repurchase this one mainly because of the size and shape. It's easy to hold and comfortable to use, especially on long hair, and it doesn't feel bulky or awkward in my hand. I use this brush both wet and dry, and it does a good job detangling without pulling or feeling harsh on my scalp. The bristles are flexible enough that it glides through my straight hair smoothly, even when my hair is damp, and it helps reduce tugging compared to traditional brushes. I also like that it's lightweight, which makes it easy to use daily without my hand getting tired. The only downside, and the reason for four stars instead of five, is that the little balls on the ends of the bristles don't seem to last very long. Over time they wear down, and I usually end up needing to replace the brush about once a year. It's not a dealbreaker for me, but it's something to be aware of. Overall, this is a solid, reliable brush that I would repurchase again, especially for anyone with long, straight hair who needs something gentle for both wet and dry use. ... show more
