I love this style of detangler brush because it is easy to use with a good grip without causing damage to my hair. I am a person who brushes the hair after a shower while it is wet and this brush can handle the job. No matter the hair length, this brush's bristles are soft and smooth around the ends to my hair doesn't break and end up on the floor. I have fine hair, but a lot of it and this brush is the most gentle I have found. I have tried some of the vented styles of Wet brush and found them to be too rigid and harsh on my hair. This is the perfect size and weight for detangling my medium length hair. I start at the ends and work my way up to the mids and finally to the scalp. I have one brush for clean, freshly washed hair and one for morning detangling on non-wash days. This keeps dirt and oil from mixing in my clean hair. If you wash everyday, this wouldn’t need to be a concern, but for those of us that don’t wash everyday, the Wet brush is affordable to have multiple brushes for the different days. I love that it is pretty easy to clean. If I clean my brush weekly, I can usually get it to last pretty well for a couple years. I’ve never had the bristles fall out of a Wet brush, but I am very careful about my cleaning method. I usually go for the least expensive design. I’ve gotten the fancy pro version before, and while I noticed the extra cushion feels nice in my hand, I don’t notice any extra benefit about using it in my hair.
