This little barbeque easily closes up nicely for secure transporting. The only issue I had was that if I had more than a couple brickettes thick they were essentially touching the bottom of the metal grate. So, for myself heat control was difficult. This will be great of occasional use. The powder coating has already flaked off where the heat is most intense which was expected. And the grates are just beginning to rust because of the heat. But if you need something lighter in weight for the beach or car camping this is worth considering. It's compact and light for its size. There's not a lot of ways to control the heat. You cannot raise the grates so plan accordingly. It does a hot sear well. You could do indirect cooking, again, with planning but you'll need to keep taking your food off the grates, remove the grates, and put in more charcoal. It's best for hot direct cooking so things like hamburgers and steaks, it's perfect. Just plan it out and you'll be fine. ... show more

Don’t waste ur money. It’s terrible quality, missing items, and the black coating keeps rubbing off, can you imagine that stuff in your food? Yikes!
