So far, we like these stairs! We bought the floor mat and two sandbag weights and it stays down just fine! It is much better using these stairs than it is using the ladder that came with the pool. The only complaint I have so far is that Amazon seems to like to ship my large items using the post office. We live in a rural area where there is no Amazon Prime delivery and I have to go pick up the large items at the post office. I do not understand why they do not ship using UPS or fedex, who both come to my house. I do not know where to leave this feedback for Amazon so I am leaving it in item comments. Please stop shipping large items using the post office! Otherwise I love these upstairs!

I have only had these installed for less than a month, with that being said i can say the assembly went very well just make sure you have a rubber mallet. I was concerned they would float, they recommend adding 20lbs of sand in each side panel i added 30+lbs to each side and have not had any floating at all. Theses are very well constructed and feel solid to walk on. The top step is just below the railing of my pool so i plan to leave the steps in the water over winter and will remove the handrails to install the cover. I went back and forth on the purchase of pool steps and settled on these, i am very happy thus far, you tube has several installation videos produced by the manufacturer which were a big help. I can say you wont be disappointed if you decide to purchase.

We ordered this mat for under our pool steps at a fraction of the cost at the pool store! Easy to install, has stayed in place, adequate thickness. If we’re a little thicker would be better and that’s the reason for 4 stars

The right size for my pool ladder. Covers the complete bottom with a couple inches to spare around the sides. Thickness and toughness of the material should be adequate to stop any abrasions on the pool liner.
