I've only tested it once so far and ran my FAU with a 1000 inverter for 1 hour with very little drain. My only gripe is the poll covers should snap on over the polls after you connect the bolts. Otherwise great so far.

Prefer the AGM over lithium ion due to Bluetooth connectivity. With AGM, no one can hack my battery supply. These have held up well, even in 3 degree F, weather. Keeping the area of storage at least 60 degrees F, ensures better battery usage. 65+ degrees F is better though. One note that is extremely important is never allow the battery to go below 50% charge. Or else, the charging takes longer to get out of the low battery charge phase. 1 battery worked to keep my small refrigerator running all night, 5’ RCA refrigerator. The RCA refrigerator unit only uses 87 watts per hour, so the battery worked well for 8 hour nights without the sun. ... show more

The battery doesn’t hold a charge. The charge drops drastically after I disconnect it at 100% from the solar controller within seconds down to around 80% then drops slowly.

Replaced four 6 volt batteries with two 12 volt batteries for a fraction of the cost but am very happy. No question these batteries are a better value, less space, less weight, and a Quarter of the cost.

First I have to mention Amazon is terrific. They always keep me informed on shipping and often get it to me ahead of schedule. Any questions I have they answer with some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. This review is simply about the battery. I've purchased two of these batteries for my small solar backup system to replace the original Amazon 100AH batteries that served me well for 4 years. I test each battery right out of the box with a ANCEL BA101 Professional 12V 100-2000 CCA 220AH Automotive Load Battery Tester. I have faith in the tester since my old batteries tested out at 24 to 32% "Healthy" with a replace recommendation. I've also tested my newer car and garden tractor batteries that tested in the 90% "Healthy" range all of which made sense. In testing these batteries they came to me with a 100% charge but tested in the 51 to 64% "Healthy" range. To be clear I'm not saying that's definitive I could be doing something wrong and I am after all not trained in battery test procedures. I can confirm I did check the contacts and tested each battery numerous times and did have it on the proper 100AH setting. I'm comfounded as to why one battery would test out 51% "Healthy" and another 64% even if for some reason I messed up the imput setting which I'm pretty sure I didn't. Hooking the batteries up and comparing them to the older spent batteries they were clearly fresher. My impression is they do not hold the charge as long as the old batteries did when they were fresh but I caution again this is an impression not the result of impericle testing. You have to pay more for the Renogy. My only conclusion and I'd stand by it is that you could get the same value with some of the lesser batteries that Amazon has. I stuck with Renogy purchasing each a few weeks apart simply to avoid mixing and matching battery brands. As far as packaging goes the batteries couldn't be protected much better and the batteries themselves including the hand holds are externally very impressive using the eyeball test. ... show more
