Economy Hip Kit includes 4 specially selected items to help individuals who have trouble bending, lifting, and twisting. The Sock Aid is made from formed plastic and helps pull socks or stockings up with ease. The Sock Aid’s attached foam handles allow for a firm and comfortable grip. The 26” Reacher allows items in hard-to-reach places to be grabbed with little effort. The 17” Plastic Shoehorn makes slipping shoes, sandals, or slippers on and off effortlessly. I bought this after suffering a complete hamstring avulsion and reattachment surgery. You can’t bend over and touch your toes for a good three months and you’re in a brace for two months. The grabber is the best piece in this kit. The shoe horn is ultra useful too. The only other useful piece is the rod with the hook on one end and two bent pieces on the other. That one I used for a ton of different things. The device that is supposed to help you put on a sock is useless. It never worked. The elastic shoe laces are the same- if you can’t reach your shoe you can’t tie it well enough. The rod with the sponge is also useless. You’re better off purchasing a loofa on a stick. The sponge doesn’t exfoliate at all and lathers poorly. It is cheaply glued on and will tear off in no time. If I had to do it over again, I’d buy two grabbers, the shoe horn, and the other funky rod. I’d suggest a female urinary device too. Since you can’t squat for at least two months, that will be your life saver. I bought a couple of those on Amazon too. ... show more
