  • Solid paddle, has a textured surface for adding spin, but handle isn't the best
This is a pretty good paddle if you're looking for something a bit above entry-level. It's quite light and looks nice (although I do worry about the white border looking bad if you accidentally scrape the paddle against the ground a couple times). The surface of the paddle has a rough texture (I'd estimate similar to 400 grit sandpaper) which is noticeably better at putting spin on the ball than my 'glossy' surfaced paddles. Where this paddle falls a bit short is in the handle. The rubber wrap is very thin and doesn't provide much cushion, which might not be a huge problem if it weren't also fairly glossy which makes it a bit slippery when sweaty. If I switch to this paddle as my daily driver I'll likely add a wrap for better grip and a little more cushion. All in all, solid paddle, wish the handle grip was a touch better but it's fine and probably not an issue for people whose hands don't sweat quite as much as mine do. ... show more

  • Get What You Paid For
I only recently got into pickle ball, but I wanted to get a decent racket. I started off with one of those "two paddles and four balls" starter sets, then bought a slightly better paddle before trading up for this. I'm still a beginner, but the differences between this and my previous paddles are still noticeable: a little more control, and a lot more grip on the surface of the paddle itself. I also noticed my other paddles got visually damaged when accidentally scraped on the ground whereas I took several similar shots with this and I don't see any damage. It's a good quality paddle and a good second step up for beginners. ... show more

  • Ticks off a lot of things - value is in the eye of the beholder
High quality set with all the standard enhancements: 1. Longer handle 2. Larger paddle area 3. Thicker corners 4. Less hollow feel on dink As far as pricing goes it seems Reebok has decided to stay within the mid range of pricing at $79.99 for most of their pickleball rackets. You can buy a decent set of two for $39 to get into the sport so this is obviously priced to amateur players. I’ve tested it next to that starter pack as well as a friend’s 100% carbon fiber racket and it sits right in the middle in terms of performance and durability. Design wise I’m not the biggest fan but it’s just a pattern, and you’re always better off steering clear of making decisions on sports equipment based on stickers anyway. ... show more

  • Good mid-level racket
Pros: Great spin, pretty good power and control. I like how the grip is longer and more tennis racket like. Cons: The grip lacks the cushioned feel typical of expensive paddles. There is some hand fatigue from extended play. The elongated paddle can be a little slower to maneuver for beginners. This is an overall well-priced and pretty good brand name racket. I wouldn't call it premium, but it's a big step up from the usual beginner paddles. This can take you a pretty long way into your pickleball learning curve. The grip wrap might be something to consider replacing if you find the cushioning lacking. ... show more

  • least favorite style
This paddle is available in at least 3 colors. This one is my least favorite. There is also white, and my favorite, blue/green. Almost all of the lower-end paddles are the same size, so this is unique with the elongated shape. That matches the Joola Magnus where the focus here is POWER and Reach. That makes it a bit unique in the lower-end market, such as this (sub $100). Reebok has really missed the boat by taking up the Pickleball Paddle market, losing to Joola, but here they are trying to catch up. The best paddles are the $280 Joola at the moment. Pros =Reebok =carbon fiber =better shape for power Cons =grip is substandard =not up to Joola's high-end quality ... show more

  • Great sweet spot, longer handle
Great paddle, really love the feel of the sweet spot, has a nice deeper sound when you hit it with a nice slight cushiony feel. The length of the grip is nice for me too having larger hands. Nice feeling with grip. Solid construction and feel. Nice texture on the face too for spin. Would recommend!

  • Good paddle for entry to mid level players
Good paddle for entry to mid level players, average price but better quality than the cheap ones that are all over the internet. Buy with confidence if you're just getting into the sport.
