If you have stubborn hair that does not like to hold a curl or style, this stuff is amazing. I have stuck straight Asian hair (on the medium to thinner side) and my hair never holds a curl. I have the Dyson air wrap and saw so many people say their hair won’t hold a curl with it. I found that this stuff works perfectly with the air wrap and with any other heat styling tools and holds my style for DAYS. A little goes a long way, and it can feel sticky when first applied. I like to brush my hair after applying to distribute the product more and I’ve found the sticky feeling goes away. My hair doesn’t feel crunchy after and I don’t even need hairspray! The best part is it protects your hair from heat damage. I do wish the spray bottle was better as it can be difficult to apply. Definitely hold the bottle far away from your hair and apply while letting your hair “fall” while picking it up and letting stands down gently. ... show more

I bought this to protect my hair from the heat of my hair dryer. It works great when I diffuse my hair. However, it does leave a sticky feeling in my hair so I took 1 star off for that.     • Overwhelming scent leaves hair dry
The perfume smell of this product is overwhelming. I recently tried a redken shampoo and it was the same thing. I guess they like that. It’s that super strong perfume smell from like the 80s. If you are sensitive at all to scents, do not buy this. In recent months I’ve been trying to get away from artificially scented products and this was way too much I ordered this based on recommendation from the blowout professor. For me, this is very sticky. Leaves my hair feeling dry and crunchy. I’m honestly very confused by it or why it would be recommended. This does not feel like a modern product esp for the high price. Does what it says, but is extremely sticky. I spray it on my hair, have to wait a minute to let it dry, brush it out and then am able to use my heat tool. When I first spray it, it leaves my hair in a helmet like form- a brush is needed before doing anything to my hair. It is like spraying glue on your hair. Once I finish with my heat tool and finish styling, I have to spray with additional hairspray in order for my curls to last. I have paper straight hair that struggles to hold curl. ... show more
