I bought the T.K.Excellent 3‑inch deck screws because my fence and deck were starting to wobble like they were questioning their life choices. This box showed up with 315 screws, which is basically enough hardware to build a small kingdom or at least fix everything I’ve been ignoring for months. The screws are coated in this brilliant yellow Ruspert finish that makes them look way fancier than screws have any right to be. Honestly, they shine like they’re auditioning for a hardware calendar. I usually use deckmate brand, but I came across these at a great price so I figured I'd give them a try. These appear to be a good quality screw with a nice sharp point, easy to get started. The only negative, and this is why I only gave it four stars, is that it takes a T20 bit instead of a T25. It does include two full size bits which is great not those little useless nub bits that the other brands include that just go in the garbage. The only reason the bit size isn't the best for me is if I'm using these screws along with another brand screw I have to use two drivers or switch bits, not ideal. Going forward I may just switch over to using all TK excellent brand deck screws I will have to check the size bit on their longer screws. ... show more

Decking screws are expensive. You could go cheap but we all know phillips head is inferior. I have bought 2 of these 10 lb buckets for half of what I used to spend on a 5 lb and you get to keep the bucket whoch is super handy for carrying small tools once empty.
