We decided to use this as a laundry bin in the bedroom. With the lid, closing the way that it does, and with a little opening in the middle, it's easy to shove your socks or underwear into the little hole without having to open the bin at all. It does a great job of holding a perfect load of laundry. It's very sturdy and you can pick it up easily. I don't think I would want to try to take that center bag out over and over again, it's just not built well enough for that. The rods are a little challenging to get inside of the sides you have to use some pretty good strength to do it, but you can definitely get it done. I had to do it, my fiancé's strength wasn't enough to push those rods in position. Once it's put together, it's a breeze and a great product to use for laundry or recycling. My only hold back on the recycling thing is because it's a cloth fabric on top. You really need to make sure you're rinsing your recycling if you use this for something. You do risk the chance of it getting stained on top. Which is why we used it for laundry.

Let me start off by saying, there’s some confusion about whether this bin by ROSOS, is for recycling, or a laundry hamper. I’m using it as a laundry hamper. I liked the appearance of this bin in the pictures and thought I could put it to good use, so I ordered it. This bin is made of bamboo and a nice durable fabric. It measures appropriately 17” L by 13” wide and 27” high, and has a capacity of 105L. Assembling it was very easy only took 3 minutes maybe, the rods for the sides fit in place at the corners, which is necessary for it to maintain its structure. It’s aesthetically pleasing, and looks great in my walk in closet. I can just tuck it in a corner, and with the lid opening upwards, I can easily drop my dirty laundry into it. Without the use of a liner, enough air gets into it, to prevent any mildew from forming. A really nice feature, as if anything damp gets dropped into plastic, most likely, you’ll end up with mildew stains, and a pungent odor. Regardless of its stated use, I am pleased with this hamper. It was easy to assemble and seems very sturdy had at least 40lbs of laundry in already and it felt rigid and strong while carrying it downstairs not a bit of worry about it breaking at all even when very full. In conclusion this is a great laundry hamper/recycling bin and will work well for whatever you end up using it for I give it 5 stars.

This looks decent when you get it together and seems pretty sturdy for being soft sided. This is NOT easy to assemble without good hand strength. When you put the poles in, you have to get the tip under the frame ledge. I think the poles are actually longer than they're supposed to be. I used a shoe horn and finally got them under the ledge but the bin/hamper is stretched as far as it can possibly stretch. It's going to work for me but I think the price and difficult assembly make it not the best option.

The description said this is a recycling bin. The instructions say it's a laundry hamper. I guess it could be used as one or the other. My plan is to use as recycling bin. It arrives flat. Assembly requires inserting four rods to give the bin its frame. They were easy to put together, inserting them fully into the bin was difficult. Very difficult. During assembly, use the upper velcro tab to push the top of each rod into place. [When putting it together that sentence will make more sense.] If the rods aren't pushed into place, it is difficult and near impossible to close the velcro tabs. There is a removable insert. I'm worried about keeping it clean as sometimes members of my household don't rinse out cans or containers before putting them in the bin. Luckily, there is a lip around the top of the bin that will keep a garbage bag in place to use instead of the insert. The top is attached and has a opening to put items in the bin without having to open it. The size of the bin is good - it holds a good amount but not more than I can handle walking to the big bin outside.

I'm not understanding the big fuss about other customers complaining about how this is a repurposed laundry bin? So what? It has hole on top to dump smaller items through, or you can lift the hinged lid for larger things. It has a removable vinyl liner with handles that can be easily cleaned, and there are hooks to conveniently keep the liner in place. This thing can fully serve its purpose as a recycling bin... or a trash bin... or a laundry bin, whatever your blessed heart desires.

Like several other reviews, this does not come labeled as listed and instead comes with instructions for a laundry bin. As far as cleaning, the instructions say do not clean by essentially any method, so I would not recommend using for recycling as listed. The inner lining bag has a large capacity but feels low quality. The assembly is easy to follow, but difficult to actually get the rods under the lip of the lid for installation and I needed to use the velcro pieces to force them into place.

While this can be used for recycling, Im not sure something made out of fabric would be good. This is a hamper. The instruction for the product come with it saying it’s a clothing hamper. I got this in black. I won’t be using it for recycling, it does make good for dirty laundry. It was easy to assemble. Came in a flat rectangle shape. I was actually suprised how it popped up. I’m going to use it as a hamper, it actually look like it will function better that way. Overall it’s a decent size and the bag can be carried to your washer. It’s a canvas fabric and come pretty wrinkled. Looks sharp, hoping it holds up.
