They show 3 kayaks on the rack I purchased. I don't think you can get 3 kayaks on there, unless they are smaller than the basic consumer kayaks. Our kayaks are too thick to fit three on there, though it's adjustable, and we only needed 2 kayak spaces and one space for a paddle board. Works great for us.

We've struggled with what to do with all of the water toys, but this stand has been so helpful! Was easy to assemble, and looks great on our dock. So far we have 2 kayaks and a paddle board on it, and I like that the angle of the arms make it so you can still see between these items. I was afraid it would create a "wall" and block vision, but it doesn't. I also really like the rubber cushions on top of the arms so it doesn't scratch the items placed on them. We bought the free-standing unit so we can have it on the dock during the summer but then move it into our shop to store the water toys for the winter. Also, the first day we got it up, we had a significant storm with pretty high winds -- and it stayed in place! Really pleased with this purchase!

When it arrived, I was a bit concerned about this item being big enough to fit one SUP and two kayaks, but that concern was quickly quelled once I assembled the unit and placed everything on the rack. Great design and well built. Highly recommended.

I purchased this rack since it was more expensive than others and looked heavier duty. It is not. It is fairly easy to assemble, but very light and not very substitutional. We have 2 tandem kayaks, well under 1oo lbs each but they are too much for the rack - a third wouldn't be possible. Maybe decent if you had 1 kayak and 2 paddle boards. I would look elsewhere next time,.
