  • Great value
I couldn't be happier with this recumbent exercise bike! It was easy to assemble, feels sturdy, and is very comfortable to ride. The seat and backrest provide excellent support, making longer workouts much more enjoyable than on a traditional bike. The resistance levels are smooth and quiet, so I can exercise without disturbing anyone in the house. The display is easy to read and tracks everything I need to stay motivated. For the price, the quality exceeded my expectations. This bike has been a great addition to my home gym, especially for low-impact cardio that's easy on my knees. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable, and affordable recumbent exercise bike! ... show more

  • Excellent customer service exceeded my expectations
Color: Orange-New Update
I got this exercise bike to continue physical therapy at home. It arrived securely packaged. The instructions were unusually clear, well written and illustrated. Some of the hardware was pre-installed and the rest--including tools--was cleverly packaged and identified so that there was never any question of what went where. I found the seat a bit uncomfortable and requested the optional free cushion offered by the vendor. It's a tremendous improvement and has silicone dots on the underside to keep it from sliding around. The bike is quiet in use, the tension is easy to adjust, and the feedback screen offers many choices (speed, distance, time, calories, odometer, etc). The bike can be moved around as needed but is very stable in use. My emails with the vendor were always answered promptly, courteously, and informatively. After a month of daily use, I feel this bike is worth a full five stars--and an additional five stars for truly outstanding customer service. ... show more

  • Excellent value, and quite sturdy
For less than $200 USD, I was a bit skeptical, but I'm a believer now. This exercise bike is well designed and well built. I am very happy with it. The electrics are fairly basic, with counters and timers, and also a heart monitor on the hand grips, and the resistance control is a simple knob, but it makes up for it with sturdy construction and smooth functionality that will likely last a very long time. Both the seat bottom and seat back are easily adjustable. I saw a note that came with it offering to send a seat cushion, but it doesn't really need one. If someone were using it for hours at a time, it might make a difference, but it's plenty comfortable for workouts of 30 minutes or less at a time. It has a bit of weight to it, but it can be moved around by picking up the back end and rolling it around. There are wheels hidden in the front. I understand that more expensive exercise bikes have more complex controls and functionality, but I appreciate the simplicity. To me, it's fewer things to break, and a lot of fancy features that I probably don't need, on a machine that perhaps I couldn't afford. This one is quite affordable and quite functional. I was a little worried about the assembly, but I took my time and everything went together well. I only struggled a little with the reverse thread on one of the pedals, but I didn't need to watch any of the instructional videos to figure it out. Bottom line: worth every penny. ... show more

  • Well made at a great price!!!
This just arrived yesterday and was a week earlier than I expected. I started putting it together right away. It was quick and easy. The instruction manual was easy to follow and I had no extra parts at the end. I made two mistakes on the assembly though but quickly fixed them. It had to do with the seat. First was the locking handle on the right side of the seat. I first put it on 180 degrees out. It looked a little odd and I knew it was wrong. Next was putting the seat on the bar it slides on. I attached the bar before I put the seat on it and had to take it back off. That is what I get for thinking I know it all by just following the diagrams, and not reading the instructions thoroughly. Now for my first impressions. The bike looks very well made and is quiet as well as stable on the floor while pedaling. I am 6'2" tall and still had room to adjust the seat back more if needed. At first I thought the seat looked a little hard and my bottom would get sore, but surprisingly it did not. Besides, the bike came with a free offer for a seat cushion as a gift so I sent for it. I don't know if I will use it or not but, it is better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. The cushion of the seat has a small base that it is attached to with four bolts. I do not know if it is wood or partical board inside but when shifted my weight to one side I heard a small crack. The base plate the cushion attaches to should really be bigger. I see this maybe breaking if I am not careful. I will just have to remember not to put to much weight on the sides. If you are 300lbs or more this may be an issue. I am thinking of getting a piece of aluminum sheet metal slightly smaller then the cushion for more support. I may have to get longer bolts as well. Should not cost too much and would definitely fix the issue. I plan on having and using this bike for many years and I want it to last. It has a water bottle holder under the seat which I doubt I will use. Some people like me may find it hard to reach unless they stop pedaling. I saw some older models on YouTube that had the bottle holder where the tension controller is now. The tension controller was on the tube below the computer panel. Makes more sense to have the tension controller were it is for easy reaching. It would have made more sense to put the water bottle holder where the tension controller used to be on the tube below the computer panel. The instructions on how to operate the computer panel are in the back of the assembly manual. The computer panel has a holder for your cell phone or tablet. The bike "DOES NOT" come with batteries for the computer panel. You will need two "AAA" batteries. This bike has a back support that is ment to be used. I adjusted the back support so the top of it was just below my shoulder blades and it was very comfortable. The tension knob has 16 levels which increase the pedal resistance. Level one being the least. Level 16 has a great amount of resistance which I doubt I will use but you never know. This bike is smaller then I thought it would be so it is definitely compact. I gave this 5 stars because I really did not see anything wrong with the bike that could not be fixed. And the company seems to listen to it's customers. Why else would they move the tension knob and the water bottle. I got the bike for several reasons. First is because it is dangerous to ride my regular bike in the winter because of ice. You never know when or where you will find it and sometimes it is unavoidable. Second is I have ridden stationary bikes and after an hour my bottom was really sore. Third was the price. It was not too expensive and did all the things I wanted it too. The pulse monitor was a plus. My goal is to use this bike for an hour to burn fat using interval training. That is were after a nice slow warm up, which should barely increase my heart rate. I increase my pedal rate into exercise range so my heart rate increases but not too much for several minutes. I then increase my pedaling rate again so my heart rate increases again to between 70% to 80% of my max heart rate. I do this also for several minutes and then slow down to my previous experience rate. I repeat this 5 or 6 times and at the end I do a nice slow cool down. The same speed as my warm up. You will know your doing it right if at first when you increase your pedal rate, it is a little hard at first. And when you decrease your pedal rate you will find it hard to slow down. Especially when you do your cool down. Following this routine does three things for your body. First, it burns fat. Two, it speeds up your bodies metabolism. And last, the cool down helps your body get rid of lactic acid buildup in your muscles that makes you sore. Some of you may not be able to do an hour and can only do about 15 minutes. THAT IS OK! Just do one minute intervals but keep your warm up and cool down at least 5 minutes. You can slowly increase the interval times over time, as it becomes easier for you. Some of you may be wondering what your maximum heart rate is. Here is how you figure it out. Take your age and subtract it from 220. That is your max heart rate. To figure out what your fat burning range is you take your max heart rate and multiply it by .7 and .8. That gives you your 70% to 80% heart rate for burning fat. 70% being your minimum and 80% being your maximum. Now if you have health concerns please talk to your doctor and explain to them what you want to do. And follow their advice! In closing. I just got this bike so I am not done evaluating it yet. I have only ridden it twice and am very satisfied and pleased so far with my purchase. I plan on updating this review in about a month or so, if I remember lol. I will put in any pictures then. ... show more

  • Great for the price, not fancy, just does the job!
If you're not looking for fancy with all the bells and whistles, this bike is great, I recommend. Price is right, it's sturdy, it's quiet, and it gets the job done. I have a meniscus injury and this is exactly what I needed. My cell phone fits in the little tray in front of the monitor, so I can watch a video or something while I exercise. Only complaint is, the seat is not comfortable. In the box, there is a flyer that says if you find the seat too hard, you can email for a free cushion. Well, I did that, and was told they were no longer available. Sooo, just know you will probably need to order a cushion separately. Another note, because it was a concern I had...I am not a small woman. I have wide hips, but was pleased to see that not only the cute little thin girl in the video fits in the seat between the two handle bars, but I do too (yay). Regarding ease of assembly, I did this myself with no issues, with the tools provided, within an hour. The instructions are easy to understand and helpful if you actually read them and not just follow pictures. If you need to watch your spending but need a recumbent bike, this will work for you. ... show more

  • Good buy
Color: Orange-New Update
This stationary bike was an excellent choice for my 73 year old brother who is experiencing mobility issues. It is comfortable, heavy duty enough for good support, and easy to use. It doesn't take up too much space. He loves it.

  • Great recumbent exercise bike in a compact size
Color: Silver
I have had the XVGVSV recumbent exercise bike for a week. It arrived with no damage to the box or the bike. The assembly instructions were excellent and the YouTube assembly video link sent in a welcome e-mail from customer service made it even easier to assemble. I am a 77-year old woman and I didn't need to call my husband to give me a hand. Just a FYI-- I used up all the parts in the parts package before the cell phone holder was attached. It took me a few minutes to realize that all the screws for it were already screwed into the bracket base. I just needed to unscrew them, align the holder with the holes and rescrew them. Just know that everything really is in the box. It is a full feature bike in a compact size, the screen is easy to read (even without glasses), and the cell phone holder is great. The model with the cell phone holder is a few dollars more but well worth it. Release the seat lock and the seat easily slides forward or back to adjust for me at 5'6" or my husband at 5'10". Initially, the seat felt a bit hard for me, but now I don't even notice. Even better, enclosed with the bike is an offer to receive a free soft cushion for extra comfort. I sent in my request by email and received a reply that it will be sent soon. Best of all is the bike in use. Its pedals move smoothly, it is quiet, resistance is easily adjusted, both the front and the rear handrails are comfortably positioned, the pulse reading is accurate (yes, I checked it), and I get a great workout. My husband also uses it and told me I made a great choice. I highly recommend the XVGVSV recumbent exercise bike. ... show more

  • GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY!
Color: Orange-New Update
I received my W239 on the evening of July 1 by FedEx and had it assembled that evening. It arrived undamaged and contained all the necessary parts. My first impression was this is not a flimsy bike. FedEx indicated a 63lb shipping weight and it is very well constructed and stable. I discovered that it is much easier unboxing by cutting the side of the box instead of lifting the parts through the top. I had no issues with assembly by following the included owners manual and there is also an email address for customer support should you need additional help. I contacted customer support to request the free soft cushion and Laurel responded the next day. I am a 69 year old male, 6'1" 180lbs and this bike is a perfect fit and comfortable for me with the seat in the most rear position. The display screen is clear and very easy for me to read even without my glasses. The bike is very solid and stable but with the roller wheels it is easy to move around. For the price compared to the other bikes on Amazon I am very pleased with this bike and the customer service. Definitely deserves a 5 star review! ... show more
