This works for our family with two adults, a toddler, and a newborn. It was simple enough to assemble, it's held up well, and it looks pretty cute in our little dining room. I can use the table as a decent desk while I work from home if needed, or our kid can color with plenty of space. It's all easy to clean. The benches are nice, if not mildly uncomfortable after about an hour. This table is fairly small, so if you entertain often, I'd look for something larger. Easy to assemble and very sturdy for what it is. I didn’t have trouble aligning the screws as others have mentioned, as long as you wait to tighten until after you have placed all screws in the respective hole. I bought it as a kid’s table for my classroom and the metal legs are strong! I’m so bummed it came with a big 3 inch gash on the side of the tabletop exposing the MDF. Unfortunately, the seller asked me to ship it back when I requested a refund, which I don’t see the point when I would have to fork up the shipping costs and deassemble it. It was a perfect cheap item for what I needed. The wood is not real wood those. If you spill something other than water on it, it’s going to stain immediately. Good for what I needed though. Easy assembly!

Since this table is uncoated, I purchased a table cover otherwise it would damage the wood. Even before we used it, the benches are not exact and it wobbles. Also this was extremely heavy! Which I felt was more sturdy if it was aligned properly. Excellent price but this is only good as a temporary short term table compared to having a plate on your lap lol. My cat really enjoys resting his head on the metal part beneath the benches. ... show more

Nice table color and best for 2 people. You can squeeze in 4 if you need to. However, the table is wobbly!! If i use my laptop on it or try to write on paper, it shakes. It's as if it needed extra supports between the legs to stop it from wobbling. I have tightened the screws over and over again, so I know that this is not the problem. ... show more

Table came broken. We were putting things together as we took them out. Table was last piece. Hoping it last long enough to get my money worth out of it. But overall it's a nice set... UPDATE!!! Seller seen my review and they wanted to issue a refund for the issue that occurred. I opted in for another product instead. I love the chair and foot stool that comes with it. They are very kind and nice people to do business with. I am pleased with their efforts in pleasing their customers! Sorry it took so long to respond. I'm just putting it together.
