This smoker seems nice but did not fit together well. There are gaps at the doors which directions said to bend doors to fill gaps but it is impossible to bend them in a direction that will fix the issue. Havnt cooked on it yet so we shall see. There is also no real instructions as to placement of the racks and being new to this style of grill would have been helpful. Update: The company contacted me and are now sending replacement doors. Kudos for the great customer service.

I used the smoker for the first time over the weekend. The large size is great for a larger cookout, and is light enough to easily move around by a single person. The latches are great at keeping it all secured together while moving or loading into a truck. The smoker is easy to assemble and took a few hours by myself. The ash bucket on the bottom is great for cleaning out during long cooks. Overall it is a decent smoker, but is higher priced than the quality of the product. I bumped my rating from a 4 star to a 2 star because the product was delivered damaged. I emailed the manufacturer directly through the email included in the assembly manual. It has been 2 full working days in China, and the manufacturer has not reached back out to me. Here is a portion of the email describing the damage. I came across a lot of damaged parts internal to the factory packaging. I wanted to reach out directly in case this is a one off failure and not indicative of all of the Premium Smoker Grills. I don't think that this would warrant a bad review on Amazon without reaching out directly first. The factory box that the smoker came in was double boxed inside a much larger Amazon box with a lot of crumpled paper packaging surrounding the internal smoker grill box. No noticeable damage is seen on either the Amazon package or the smoker grill box. Please see the photos attached of all of the damaged parts that seem to have occurred due to the lack of protection inside the factory packaging from the heavier steel parts sliding into the thinner body panels and lid parts. I decided to buy the premium smoker grill over the standard smoker grill because I like the look of the wooden handles. I was extremely displeased to find the wooden handles tossed into a parts bag with other metal parts which resulted in the handels being scratched up significantly. Please let me know how I can obtain replacement parts that are undamaged.

My son-in-law tells me that getting a smoker is a gateway drug. Well, I’m hooked. I started off last year, smoking a brisket in a Weber kettle. It turned out so well that I thought, “I have to do this again!“ So I ordered this bad boy. (21” version) And because I am a moron, I decided to break it in by smoking, not one, but two briskets at the same time. On a day with 20 mile an hour winds coming off the lake across the patio. I am extremely happy with the results. Yes, I set up a little bit of a wind break, and (pro tip) in the wind, it’s better to keep the lower damper about half closed. But once I figured that out, keeping the smoker at 250° for the whole day was super easy, barely an inconvenience. It almost seemed like it “wanted “ to stay at 250, like it was designed for that—go figure. The two doors operate well, and are absolutely vital for tasks like adding more charcoal and wood chips. (especially on a windy day. Man, did I go through the charcoal!) The second level door was very useful, as I put a tinfoil pan inside the water pan and rendered the fat trimmings as part of the cooking process, making it very easy to ladle the tallow out of there and apply to the brisket prior to the wrapping stage. If you are new to smoking (as I am) you can’t go wrong with this one for the price. Easy to put together, easy to use, and great results on the first try.

This is a 3.5 review but rounded up to 4. This isn't bad but I think you can find similar quality for cheaper here on Amazon because you may end up with incorrect parts. The flaws I found aren't deal breakers but this is what I found: 1. The temperature gauge isn't accurate so I ended up using my laser temp reader to check. 2. A single leg piece has drilled holes in the wrong spot. I got lucky and found a way to screw it in securely with no wiggle. Overall, go for grills that are less than $100 on amazon if you're looking at this one. I honestly think they're similar in quality because this one didn't impress me much. This would have impressed me more if it costed $60~$70.
