    • What a joke
Ive bought these projectors in the past and only had issues after years of use... however when I purchased this one it came with the lens complete out of it and since its clearly not a some assembly necessary product I called and Amazon had me return it and send me a new one which I expected would happen no dig deal they fixed it... right... wrong after a 2 months of having it the roku remote stopped controlling it... I thought oh well I have the projector remote to turn it on and off and can use my phone with the roku Remote app... that worked for about 2 weeks until the projector remote stopped working so now the only way to turn it on and off is with the buttons on top which is fine annoying but whatever whats not fine is we were watching a family movie when it happened loudly and there is no volume control buttons on the projector. I've payed for 2 apps that claim they will control the volume and they don't and when I got sick of wasting money on an item that isn't even 30 days old amazon told me that I couldn't have a replacement because since they sent me a build it yourself projector first (their fault not mine) this is considered the replacement so they could give me a PARTIAL refund and I could try to purchase a remote from them to see if that fixed the problem... I never have wrote and angry review before but this is the most ridiculous issue that they could easily fix and decided not to. ... show more

For the price I have nothing bad to say about the projector itself. My issue is the power supply. Many reviews say it gets hot and stops working and that is true. Found out the power supply that comes with the product pushes out too much voltage and not enough current. It comes with a 26VDC 2.7A power supply and the projector requires 24VDC 3A so it cant handle it for long. Had to buy a different power supply and it works fine ... show more

This is the first time I have purchased a home projector and I’m very pleased with this product. It was easy to set up, especially because I already use Roku on the television sets in my house. All I had to do was enter my email address on the screen and I was sent a confirmation email. All of my screening apps that I already use were already signed into once I clicked the email confirmation. The picture is better than I’ve seen on other projectors. I thought I could attach a Roku stick to any projector with a port…I was wrong. After attempting two different brands I finally found Roku has its own projector and our outdoor movie nights have excelled to another level! This system is much more convenient than having to hook up a dvd player since Roku hosts almost any streaming service you could want!! Additionally, our cable provider has a Roku channel so we’ve been able to watch live tv, including sports, outside, in front of the fire pit by simply plugging in this one projector!
