  • Only Display Glasses with HDR! Only Display Glasses with HDR!
Size: Justice
TL;DR I was hesitant to upgrade from the Air 3s Pro I bought last August. When I saw there was a Batman Limited Edition, and a very attractive launch price, I decided to pull the trigger. After selling the Air 3s Pro, the marginal cost to upgrade was minimal. And boy am I glad I decided to upgrade. The HDR modes (both HDR10 and AI-HDR) exceeded my expectations, and the Bang & Olufsen tuning is also fantastic…especially with the included sound tubes. I rate these a ‘must buy’ or at a minimum, a ‘must try’. Seriously just buy these glasses and give them a try. You won’t find another pair for anywhere near this price and with such fantastic picture quality. Background with XR glasses I have tested all the newest glasses from RayNeo’s competitors but I always went back the Air 3s Pro I bought last August. The RayNeo Air series lack some of the fancy options like 3dof anchoring mode, electro-chromatic dimming, and the various screen size, distance, and orientation options…but what it does offer is superior display quality and that is why I keep going back to them. Most of the remaining review will focus on comparing the Air 4 Pro to their Air 3s Pro predecessor. Glasses The glasses look exactly the same as the Air 3s Pro except with the branding ‘Audio by BANG & OLUFSEN’ on the right temple. Since I got the Batman Justice Limited Edition, there’s also a Batman logo on the right temple as well. The comfort is the same as Air 3s Pro. These are the lightest glasses on the market and they feel great sitting on my face for hours. Display Modes There are three ‘picture modes’ and three ‘dynamic quality’ options to choose from. The picture modes are Standard, Movie, and Eye Comfort. There isn’t a big difference here. Movie mode is a little darker, and Eye Comfort has a slight yellowish tint. The Dynamic Quality Options is where things get very interesting. There is SDR, AI-HDR, and HDR10. SDR looks very similar to the Air 3s Pro. The AI-HDR does a great job converting non-HDR content to HDR. Switching between SDR and AI-HDR makes it very clear that the AI lightens certain areas while darkening others to give better separation. For HDR enabled content, HDR10 is simply brilliant. These are the new standard for watching movies. Audio Whisper mode was my default audio mode on the Air 3s Pro. The only issue is it was too quiet when there was background noise. This has been solved by including sound tubes in the limited-edition versions. One of the reasons I splurged the extra $20 for the limited edition was because sound tubes were included. I would say the sound tubes are a ‘must have’. I can have the glasses in Whisper mode with the sound almost all the way down and still hear the audio just fine. No one is hearing what I am listening to even if they are standing right next to me. The Bang & Olufsen audio is a solid upgrade to the sound quality as well. Conclusion These glasses should be an instant buy for everyone that wants to have their own personal HDR movie theater. If you have never owned AR glasses, give these a try. If you own the Air 3s or 3s Pro, sell them, and upgrade to the Air 4 Pro. If you own another brand that you need for 3dof, I recommend grabbing these as a second pair for watching HDR movies. ... show more

  • Excellent value, fits my needs perfectly. Excellent value, fits my needs perfectly.
Size: Chaos
I travel frequently so I bought these to be able to have privacy when working on my phone or laptop. Works well with Samsung Galaxy S25+ and Samsung DEX. Probably won't be wearing the joker mask around too much, but a Batman fan and there are a couple additional cool features I got it for - the logo on the case and the glasses themselves. Picture quality and audio very good, will definitely be using these to watch movies while traveling. The image of what you're looking at can be seen from the other side of the glasses, so the included black out cover is what makes the privacy work perfect. Looked at a few different models, but chose these for the price, and very happy with the quality and that I didn't need to spend more. ... show more

  • Only if you have good eyesight.
Size: Chaos
The screen is nice and bright and the Audio done by Bang and Olufsen is easily the best part of this product. I can only reccomend these to those who have good eyesight because if you dont its basically unusable. The edge of the displays is blurry, the text is blurry and the moment you adjust them it makes everything out of focus. The plastic build while light is also super cheap feeling. The Case because its a soft one is hard to close. The Adjustment mechanism feels like you are breaking them everytime you adjust it. The front cover does darken the background but im not sure why there even is a tinted suglasses section in the forst place. Seems redundent and causes annoying reflections of your clothes or floor. Yes they work as advertised but are not perfect and have weird decisons and not enough adjustment. B&O audio is easily the best pat and screens themselves are great and connected to everything I tried. ... show more

  • First impressions
Size: Justice
Currently ranking these as a 4/5. This is my first experience with RayNeo. Pros: *Good Build *Great image quality *Works out of the box with my iPhone Cons: *Instructions aren’t best, yet. (No idea how to change the nose piece) *Some parts feel fragile. (The lens covers) *Expected the cover to snap onto the glasses. These are first impressions just out of the box. Haven’t had a chance to use them much, but I am impressed so far. ... show more

  • A solid upgrade to the 3s pros
Size: Justice
I bought these as an upgrade to the Rayneo 3s Pro glasses that I have been using and absolutely love. The biggest changes are the HDR10 and AI HDR settings which are great for movies and gaming (the AI HDR upscales) and the new sound tubes are a great addition and make it much easier to hear everything in areas that are noisier like outside or when you are around people having conversations when you are using these. Ive noticed the speakers took a little time to break in but once they do they sound great so if you don't like the sound right away just give em some time to break in, although with the tubes it makes the sound much more prominent than older models. I use my glasses for watching TV, playing XBox and switch, and as a monitor for my Mini PC and for my use they are excellent. I bought the Rayneo PocketTv when I got my 3s Pros and i like it so well and am so used to using it as it pairs so well with the glasses id recommend getting that to go with these. I use the 3d mode with my mini pc to watch movies through potplayer using 3d output and things like star wars and the new predator look amazing on these glasses in 3d. The brightness is so good you don't even really need the lens shade when you are outside (it does make the picture better in bright environments but you can still see just fine with the brightness turned up). The limited edition comes with the glasses and usb c alt mode dp cable, a long pair and shorter pair each of the sound tubes, 2 lens shades (one that looks like Batman's cowl - or the jokers eyes/nose depending on whether you get the chaos or justice edition) and the plain black one the 3s had, a batman symbol holder and a glasses case and cleaning cloth as well as all your guides. The case and the glasses have the bat symbol on them as an accent. The box that the glasses comes in is a really nice presentation case - much nicer than I expected. If your on the fence about getting them. Id recommend to just do it as you'll be happy with them they offer a great screen at a very affordable price. If you are a gamer you'll love them for playing games. They are plug and play very easy to use so no worries, just connect and start watching/playing id recommend picking up the hdmi adapter for connecting your game console and even the udb c adapter so you can play and charge at the same time. ... show more

  • A fantastic budget pair of XR glasses for beginners - UPDATE: I've returned them
Size: Justice
Update: After sticking with them for a couple weeks, I've found myself returning them. Ultimately, I bought these for watching videos and using them on my computer. After the honeymoon phase, I found myself not exactly wanting to use them for a few reasons. The biggest one was adjustment. The angle for adjustment is very particular and it was hard to get it comfortably on my head. When it was positioned just right, it was great. Finding that perfect point was very difficult though. Using it in general is a little bulky with the cable. You can feel that weight on the back of your head and it can hurt after a while. You might get used to that over time, but it was bothering me enough. Ultimately, the real reason I returned it was a culmination of everything above. It just feels like a hassle to setup and use. The screen is great, the privacy is awesome and the audio is great. However, unless I'm traveling a lot, I just don't see myself using them very often. For $250 + tax, I think that's just too steep for me to want to keep them. I've been meaning to try a pair of AR glasses for watching Youtube videos as well as using it for my gaming consoles for a while now. I've kept an eye out for a good priced pair for a while now and these just happened to pop up on my radar. I went ahead and bought a pair to try them out. I can say, without a doubt, that this was worth the purchase. Comfort wise, these felt great. I was worried they would be bulky but they actually felt great. After adjusting them to fit me properly, they felt great. They are relatively light and they feel well designed. They're pretty adjustable (although adjusting the arms sounds horrible, it's fine!) and I was able to make them fit on my face just fine. Some tips for adjusting fit: - Push the glasses as close as you can to your eyes when you are putting them on - You can (and should) bend and adjust the nose pads on the glasses themselves. There's also a larger set of nose pads in the box if you need a bigger one. I swapped mine for the large one and it felt much better! - I didn't need to but you can actually tilt the frames up or down for a slight angle adjustment. It makes an awful sound when you do but it does adjust! The picture was fantastic, HDR10 looks incredible on these. The screen is just big enough and it's incredible how immersive it feels. The colors were very vibrant and it felt like I was sitting at the movie theatre. I've only tried with audio with sound tubes, but it sounds fantastic. It's quiet enough that my partner next to me isn't able to hear my videos, but it's plenty loud for me. I haven't tested without the sound tubes but I wouldn't be surprised if the audio quality was even better. A tip for the sound tubes: It doesn't mention this but to install the sound tubes, you need to push the sound tubes into the frames (which they are labeled L and R) into the big hole of the sound tube. The long tube should be facing DOWN towards your ears. It doesn't seem like it'll fit through the smaller rubber hole, but it does. It's meant to stretch some to fit over the frames. Just keep slowly moving it until the speaker-shaped hole on top is aligned. Build wise, these felt very sturdy and flexible. The included blackout cover for the glasses was a little strange, the clip doesn't feel consistent. I have to mess with it a little bit to get it on just right. That being said, it's likely one of those things that I'll get used to. For the price, I can't imagine a better choice of glasses to try and see if you like XR/AR glasses. I can 100% recommend this as a beginning for other people to try. Overall, I can highly, highly recommend these! ... show more

  • Worth the money.
Size: Chaos
I use them for my drone. During strong daylight the drone screen on the controller is washed out by sunlight. This solves that problem very nicely. I've also listened to music with it. The sound seems very nice, and has enough volume. They are a little heavy, a little clunky, but no big deal for an hour or so of flying. They are still new, so I can't speak to durability. ... show more
