I looked at these counter stools a few months ago but at the time rejected them. I have been disappointed with self-assembly furniture in the past and was concerned they would look cheap in real life. Instead I bought a similar, single counter stool from another online retailer (we’ll call WF) that cost twice the price. That was a mistake. That WF stool arrived loose in a box with no protective padding. It’s wooden base was not level, had a number of cracks in it, terrible caning work with many broken pieces and very poor joinery. WTF So when these stools became available again on Amazon I decided I had nothing to lose. Boy was I surprised. The difference is night and day. This pair of stools from Amazon arrived very neatly wrapped in protective cloth and styrofoam bumpers. They had very clear assembly instructions and were a snap to set up. And the quality is remarkable for this price point. The powder coated steel is perfect — no strange rough or overly built up patches. The caning is perfectly aligned without any loose webs or broken straws. (It looks as well done the caning on a high end credenza I bought from Scandinavia.) and the assembled stools look elegant and sit comfortably. Overall, it is clear that this manufacturer and seller take pride in their product and care about their customers. You can tell by the way the frames were so carefully hand-wrapped and cane pieces protected for shipping. I’m giving away the misguided WF purchase and putting these proudly at my kitchen counter for daily use.

These chairs are to die for!! So easy to assemble and put together. They are sturdy, with no wobble, and look like they’re very expensive. The height fits perfectly under our bar, and you can rest your feet on the bar below. The color is neutral too, which balances all the aspects of our home. We LOVE!

These counter stools are very sturdy, quality build, arrived well-packaged, easy to assemble (less than 10 minutes per chair), very comfortable, and look great! Checks all the boxes for me 🙌🏻. The only thing that could become annoying is the mesh under the caning on the seats will trap crumbs.

I bought these chairs to replace stools for a kitchen island. I love these chairs. They fit the aesthetic of the kitchen. They are super comfortable. The rattan part of the chair is sticking up a bit and pokes you in the thigh. And, they're not perfectly sturdy.

I purchased my first set of these barstools a couple months ago and I wanted more so I placed another order for a second set recently. This is the same exact listing, found through my order history. As you can see the newer set is much higher than the older set. The bars where the backing is attached to is much longer than the old one. The material is scratchy when it’s new, it took awhile for the material to dull down and get rid of that scratchy feeling.

This barstool is really cute! It came so fast! Very easy to assemble, only took me 20mins to put 2 together. Great quality overall, and the measurement is as described, perfect size for my kitchen island!
