The media could not be loaded. This Uke is awesome! I was impressed at how beautiful it is. The design around the sound hole are beautifully carved and it adds a lot of character. The built in tuner is so nice to have (and they also include a clip on tuner as an extra). I plugged this into my guitar amp and it sounds great with a little adjusting on the EQ settings. A flat EQ makes it sound incredibly bright and I prefer a darker sound so I just rolled the highs out a little bit and it sounds great. The gig back is really nice quality. I love it. it's a great deal for a great sounding uke. I will definitely bring this in to my arsenal when I go out on gigs!

The media could not be loaded. Overall this instrument is well made and very beautiful thanks to the spalted maple. The Aquila strings that come installed are nice however the replacement set that came with the uke are NOT Aquila. The gig bag that it came with is also well crafted. The albalone binding is very pretty and looks very nice with the spalted pattern. The tuners smoothed out beautifully! Once fully settled and stable this uke is absolutely amazing! I did a bit of Stairway To Heaven on it with my Pastor and this instrument has a sound that completely belies the fact that it only has four strings. I am most likely going to have this one “Anointed” soon

The media could not be loaded. This is a great ukulele for beginners. It is well made and sounds great. It comes with everything you need. The gig bag is really nice, and I like the tuner a lot, too. I also love that I can plug it into an amp or sound system. I did have a little trouble getting the E string to stay in tune at first, as I saw someone else mention, but a few extra days of strumming helped the string stretch, and now it’s holding pretty well. I definitely recommend this uke!

This is a pretty ukulele and would work great for a beginner or someone who wanted to try out a tenor size. It is very comfortable to play, with no sharp frets or rough surfaces. The finish is smooth and even, something that can be a problem with ukuleles in this price range. The leaf decoration on the sound hole is distinctive and very pretty. This ukulele also stays in tune very well, even after sitting out on a stand in my house. Both my husband, with larger hands, and myself with smaller hands find this ukulele very comfortable to play. The ukulele has a built-in tuner which works well, and comes with a clip-on tuner as well, with batteries for both. The pickup is a bit unreliable, but this ukulele also sounds good unplugged. Accessories: strap, booklet, polishing cloth, clip-on tuner and batteries for tuner and ukulele, extra strings, 3 picks, gig bag Pros: price, electric tuner, accessories, beautiful sound hole decoration, finish and wood grain, strap buttons already installed Cons: upgraded tuning pegs and strings and an improved pickup would have made me give this ukulele an extra star

The media could not be loaded. I recently bought last month a Soprano Ukulele from my local pawn shop and cost me $48.00 and it can with no case. I began learning at beginners level with no knowledge of how to play the Ukulele except only some experience with a guitar but the guitars were always to big and the necks to long for my short arms within the 2weeks I began playing the Ukulele I found out that there are different size Ukuleles and hopped onto Amazon and immediately found the one I wanted Ranming is an amazing brand and the Manhogny Ranming Concert 23” beginnner Ukulele set with the case, strap, picks, tuner, strings, polish cloth and starter booklet was beyond perfect!! And was Cheaper than my Aloha Soprano I bought from my local pawn shop without a case or any extras! Thank you Amazon for making it easy to find and providing the site with quality instruments!! I’m successfully on my journey to becoming a musician/artist and it’s thanks to yall!

This is absolutely such a perfect first budget ukulele. You have everything you need to get started. Holds its tune. Good string and replacement strings aswell. It is important for me as a ukulele player to recommend good ukulele because so often people get ones that won't hold tune. The neck is big and the action is good. The strings are close to the neck so it makes it easier to learn so you don't have to press down such a long distance. This really is solid and you get a lot for how much it is!

This ukulele is a gift to me from my husband of 59 years and I love it. When our children were small, we entertained them with a ukulele many years ago. This Ranming 23" is a really nice instrument.

The craftsmanship (Sorry, I can't think of a gender-neutral term) is wonderful. It is a beautiful little uke with good fit and finish. The gloss is even and accentuates the wood. However, as an intermediate player, I don't buy a uke for its looks. There are no sharp edges on the fretboard, and the tuners are solid (they don't slip). As a matter of personal taste, if I kept it, I would replace the strings. For me, the only use of those strings is as fishing line. My problems are twofold. First, the action is high. That isn't a total show-stopper because If I kept it, I could file the bridge. My main problem is the tuning at the 12th fret where it tunes at G#, C, E#, and A#. That's a problem I'm not sure I could correct. For a beginner, if the high action and tuning aren't a problem, it is a beautiful gift for a new player. You could take it to a luthier, but that would cost you. For me, I will probably return it.
