Description

The most common banjo type is a 5 string banjo and has a standard tuning in open G - the notes from the 5th string to the 1st are G, D, G, B, D. This is referred to as "Open G" Tuning because the banjo is tuned to an open G chord, meaning that if you strum the banjo without fingering any of the strings on the neck you will be playing a G chord. The clip-on tuner in the pack will help you with the tuning. The upper part of the banjo is shaped like a guitar, and the lower part is shaped like a tambourine. It has four or five strings and it can be played with finger or a plectrum. According to legend, banjo originates in West Africa. In the era of slave trade in the 17th century, the slaves introduced it into America. Later, banjo came from the southern plantations gradually to the northern states of the United States and became popular. The high quality mahogany body and Remo drum head of banjo make it produce a warm and soft sound. While keeping the structure stable, it also increases the stability and transmission of sound. A feature usually found only on more expensive banjos, this geared 5th tuner is an important upgrade over the common friction tuner. Features 24 brackets, a maple bridge, an adjustable hinged tailpiece and a chrome plated arm rest. Not only does the ADM banjo sound great, it looks great too! Measure the distance from the nut to the twelfth fret. Measure the same distance from the twelfth fret onto the Drum Head of banjo. Make a small pencil mark. This gives you the correct scale length and marks the correct place to position the bridge. Leave a small pencil mark and then Installation of the bridge. This gives you the correct scale length and marks the correct place to position the bridge. ADM banjo features adjustable truss rod design allows every player to keep the neck straight by countering the pull of the strings and natural tendencies in the wood. When the action is too low, loosen the nut outside of the rim and tighten the nut inside the rim. Strings will go up from the fingerboard. If the action is too high, loosen the nut inside the rim and tighten the outside nut. Strings will go down to the fingerboard.
