Ranch baritone ukulele purchased for casual play by beginning senior adult. Nice complete kit. Uke arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and with strings in place. Nice addition to have an extra set of strings included. Instrument fits well in bag. Easy to tune and strings have held their pitch very well. Baritone size is good for older hands with more room on fretboard and comfortable playing position. Sound of this uke is fine with no discernible poor individual notes. Tuner includes battery and works OK for starting out, but a bit jumpy and had some screen flicker, so that's a bargain basement item. Tuning modes are hard to see on screen. Anyway, I was buying a ukulele, not a tuner, and later I can get a tuner of my choice if needed. Recommended for casual play out of the box and lots of fun.

I’m older than most people who would buy this beginning ukulele but at 83 it’s never to late to learn, right? This ukulele sounds so good and being the baritone uke it has the lower bass quality sound for my type of voice, such as an old man has! The looks are terrific and it comes with the tuner that is so much needed. There is some adjustments needed to be in tune each day, but it should stay in tune better the more I play it. It has a quality that won’t make you ashamed that you have a less expensive ukulele and I’m looking forward to a lot fun learning this baritone ukulele.

So far I like this uke. Are there better quality ukuleles out there? Absolutely. However this uke is well made. It's the the first baritone ukulele I've owned... or really even listened to for that matter... so I don't really have a reference as to if it sounds good or bad. It has a nice tone and all the strings resonate evenly. I'd kind of like to hear it have a little more low end punch but I have to keep in mind that my main instrument that I play is bass... so I tend to want to hear things be a little more bassy than a lot of folks. I'm enjoying playing it and I believe it certainly had potential to be a great uke!

I play bass and wanted something that I could use while sitting around to duplicate the top four strings of a guitar (bass) to work on finger picking. I had to do some work to reduce the nut height and also loosen the neck tension to get the right bend. But once it was set it is perfect. Stays in tune after hard playing. Easy to setup... yes, absolutely no guitar you buy is ready to go out the box... reduce the nut for better action is easy and loosen up the neck to get easier and better angle. Would buy this for kids, or adults to goof around on. Better than a full guitar as you can work through the notes easily.

I really needed the 20.5 inch scale length and the wider fingerboard. I was not expecting all that much and got better/more than that. * Really good quality * Nice tone * Really god action * Easily adjusted I changed the strings to Worth baritone as I wanted no wound strings so as to get a more tenor Uke sound. I bought the Worth browns, maybe in the future I will change them out to the Worth clears and even go reentrant. We will see what happens next, for now it will stay as it is. It was asked what the bridge and nut material are made of and to that I say, they appear to be dense plastic perfectly adequate. I may change the bridge saddle to raise the bass side as it is pretty much dead flat and the bass side could use a little more tension with the Worth strings on it. Hope any information I provided helps someone make their own decision

Product arrived on time as promised, but the inner box containing the instrument was packed inside a ridiculously large box with one piece of wadded up craft paper inside. That being said, the box and its contents were undamaged. the Uke is very attractive. the strings came preadjusted to the correct height off of the fret board. The included tuner worked well after I initially tuned the instrument using a tuning app on line, since it arrived completely out of tune. It plays nice and has a nice mellow tone with good projection.
