I had been using a toaster that i got on an rv trip and i found out later it didn't have the "pop up" feature that i thought all toasters had! Wasn't worth two states back to return so years later i was still using it. Doesn't take much to please me but i really enjoy using this one as you can imagine. No more unplugging and using a fork to remove my toast! Toasts evenly and i like its simple design and compact size because i store it in a roll up counter bread box. I find it runs very hot so i end up putting it on the 2 1/2 low setting and my toast is perfectly browned to suit. can't imagine what the higher settings would do or what they would be for. Super little toaster and a great value. Hope it lasts as long as my old one that's still working! Time will tell! ... show more

Ok yeah, I'm "that guy" that geeks over small appliances. We had been without a simple toaster for several years as my wife insisted on converting me to using an air fryer to do the task of toasting my bagel in the morning. It won't work. I made a bold solo move and purchased " just a cheap toaster"...but what I got was beyond. I like this baby, yes...it's Chinese which I stridently seek to avoid but I couldn't find a single toaster made in the States anymore, sad days. This unit isn't claiming a ton of real estate on my counter, it's stupid easy to use, and what do you know, gives you a nicely toasted plate of morning carbs. Bread, muffins, Eggos, it's all been just as I wanted. Easy to remove crumb tray, finger smudges wipe off easily...there is really nothing to not like about this unit, except that I waited too long to order it. ... show more

I have to put the item to be toasted in at least twice for it to get it right.No matter what the setting is at. And second time will burn it , if you’re not paying attention. Probably not enough coils in it.

I like this toaster. Don't expect an even browning on each side of your bread. It's close but not perfect. In fairness I've never had a toaster that produces something ideal.
