This has great lateral support, but nothing for the knee cap, which I need. Using the size chart resulted in a too-tight fit such that some of the Velcro did not lap and was left rubbing my leg. The brace can be worn with shorts, but is too bulky to wear under long pants. To fit over long pants you will absolutely need the next larger brace size. The brace includes some limit discs for restraining range of motion. These are not too hard to install, and once in place, do not require further attention. It is a good brace, but I am returning mine because I need knee cap support.

It helped my knee for a few days, until one of the Velcro straps broke. For the high price, much better quality velcro straps should have been included. Also makes a squeaking noise.

To me these are great knee braces and by them being neoprene free makes them that much better. I've been though my share of knee braces and to me these are outstanding ,but the most surprising thing of all is that the customer service is great!

My knee flares up every so often, this really helps with adjustable supports. You can set the range of motion to exactly what you need. The springs are just strong enough to give weak, sore knees the support they need, without being too strong so that bending is uncomfortable. The adjustment of the brace is simple, but adjusting the brackets is a bit fiddly. Worth the price tag to have some help when my knees flare up.

It doesn’t seem to matter what product I use for a knee brace, it always ends up slipping down my leg. I can’t seem to get any brace tight enough to stay in place. (Fat leg issue-lol). I’d suggest using a knee sleeve of some sort underneath the brace. Hinge movement can be adjusted with inserts to restrict bending or allow more. Decent brace but may consider other options with a better value price point.
