I have bought three of these braces over the years! One I used for many years, one I gave as a gift to a suffering friend, and this one. They are supportive, pain relieving, non slip ( they stay put on the knee and do not slide down to the ankle on my fat leg like elastic braces) , and durable. Having this brace has enabled me to work and travel and keep moving on my old painful knee for a long time. I finally had knee replacement surgery and I have found yet another use for this wonderful brace. In the picture it is holding a freezable gel wrap (Remedy brand bought on Amazon) on my knee so I can walk a bit and exercise while I recouperate!!! ... show more

I've tried sleeves, but none of them provided support or pain relief, they only provided some warmth. This helps my patella stay where it's supposed to stay and reduces pain. It's not a miracle device that makes all your pain go away without restricting range of motion, nothing will deliver that. What it does do is minimize pain and that weak feeling when hiking steep trails or climbing stairs on a bad knee day. My knee feels stable and the pain is nominal while wearing this brace, there's no sense that it will give out. I did find a use for one of the useless knee sleeves; I wear it underneath the brace to provide a little extra protection against chaffing. It's easy to put on and take off and it delivers on the promise the manufacturer makes. ... show more

Great fit, was concerned about it slipping down but the straps are quite firm. From the looks of it the company has great customer service as well. I've had it on for at least 5 hours today. Walked around the store, up and down stairs, it feels good. If you're doing exercises or movements that requires your knee being bent it keeps it in place, but can limit your full range of motion. But I guess that's the whole of these things. I would definitely buy this again. I have this on, along with KT tape. Great combination. ... show more

Over the years I have had multiple bilat knee surgeries (including reconstruction) and am staving off bilat replacement… so you can only imagine the pain I experience on a regular basis. Typically, an Ace wrap and Diclofenac gel are my typical go-to for knee management. I decided it was time to get back to the outdoors. The first hike (3.2 mile trip) sans these knee wraps was quite painful for me. I then purchased these knee wraps and have since made this trek 8 times… and without any knee pain during the hike. I ended up buying XXL (I have large calves and quads due to 35 yrs of road cycling and regular gym sessions) and this size comfortably fits me (I’m 5’11” and 202 lbs). The quality of construction is quite good for their price point. I will be more than pleased if these wraps last a year, and I won’t hesitate buying this brand again. Feels good being able to hike, again. Now able to hike up1.6 miles in 35 mins and soon hope to get to the peak in under 30 mins. ... show more

I ordered this when I tore my meniscus and I needed the additional support for walking. I used it daily for the two months waiting for surgery. In the end the Velcro was starting to lose it's strength, but I took it off and on several times throughout the day so I don't fault the product. Worked best when wore directly over skin rather than clothes. It did get warm but also wore it in the summer when sweating is normal even without the extra layer. I would buy this again if ever needed, but I hope that I never do :) ... show more

This is a quality product, I will say that right away. The only reason it got 4 stars from me is that it doesn't address my issue, which I am not 100% sure any product like this will be able to. I am very overweight and I bought the XXXL one, which "fits" or rather it is the correct sizing to fit me. Problems I faced that made me decide to waste part of my own money to return it are.... 1. Unless you tighten it tighter than they recommend and what is even comfortable to do, it will not stay in place. It rides down my thigh. Not a problem I think an average person would likely ever have. Big problem for this brace for big people though. 2. When you do tighten it appropriately and no matter how you position the straps as they come around, they tend to "wave" or kind of bunch? I am not sure exactly how to describe it. The neoprene doesn't just sit nicely because your body (well my body) curves and the neoprene doesn't like the changes in direction....so it bows out or in. It is really exacerbated when you flex your knees to sit or of the like. In general, even if it did fit well as a big person, it would be so uncomfortable and irritable on my skin that I'd likely end up having some sort of rash or rub wear that would be another level of unpleasant than just wearing it or dealing with the knee pain. It isn't ideal. Much of this though I don't feel is of the manufacturers fault but rather just a product of being a much larger person. I feel as if these issues of people of smaller size would not exist or wouldn't be as much of a bother. That being said, I returned it. It definitely was not going to work for me. Sucks I had to pay return shipping but I'd rather get some of my money back than none. If you are a much larger person, I wouldn't recommend this unless you absolutely need this type of brace. If so, I recommend wearing over your clothes or over some sort of leg sleeve to protect your skin from irritation. ... show more

There are a lot of knee braces out there but this one actually works. Its velcro holds and its material is non-toxic and doesn't irritate the skin. It's easy to use and is true to size. What more can I ask for?
