I measured my knee and got the correct size. The brace works well if all you are doing is going to sit with your knee elevated. Each time I have started walking around it tends to slip down. The extra long straps help mobilize the brace and protects the knee. The inside of the brace has good support with the metal rods I think that's what the are they hold the knee and leg still. So if you are needing this brace and plan to just have your leg elevated with the metal support this will work great. If you plan to walk around you may want to look at another. ... show more

I happen to have a knee that falls in between sizes... so the fit is uncomfortable. Too loose for a size up, too tight for a size down. I'm hoping if I just wear it a while it will "break in" and confirm to my knee for the support I need

This knee braces provided me with good support and helped me through my day of walking and standing for my job. The only reason I took a star away is the constant need to adjust the top strap. The little Velcro piece that they have to hold it in place is a complete waste. So every 5 minutes I had to readjust it. I found a comfortable brace that wraps around my thigh and no feel like circulation is being cut off. I will say if not tight enough it falls down. I was not chancing it don’t fit so I brought my size.

I opened the amazon package to find the brace in its own, formerly sealed, packaging. It was comparable to a grated cheese package. But the top part was already open and the zip lock was unsealed. When I took out the brace, it didn't appear to be used. I mean it looked brand new. But I did note there was a couple of cat hairs on it. The brace seems true to size and structurally sound. I just have an issue with whoever thought it was okay to open and send out a previously looked at product without acknowledging to the customer that it was not new in sealed package. am I being too judgy? I don't think so. I am keeping the item, but I am frowning on how it arrived. ... show more

I own a XL/2XL AND a 5XL/6XL. Brace #1 - My left leg is significantly larger than my right leg due to water retention and injuries. I had gotten my larger brace figuring on wearing it over my work pants most days. I was borderline on the measurements and they said to choose the smaller size for tight fit. Since I was on the border and planning on wearing it on top of pants, I chose the larger size. Long story short, larger size is massive, and while it works ok when cranked down, there is excess material that gets in the way plus the strap has to go all the way around the back to be tight. Brace#2 - The smaller brace XL/2XL. I measured my other leg for this brace and noticed the size chart changed from the prior order. Knowing how much difference there is in size between my two legs and that my left leg should have the 3x/4x. This knee should have one size down for proper fit. I certainly didn't want a second brace with excess. Now this one is super tight and I have to flip it a certain direction for the strap to even meet up. Even then, only one strap meets the D-ring and comes back to velcro down by about 2 inches if that. The top strap doesn't make it to the d-ring so I pull it tight and flip the strap to put velcro down. Granted it works but it is severely tight and wearing it more than a few hours leaves indents in my leg. They both are definitely great to stabilize my knees but leave a lot to be desired in the comfort area (likely due to the incorrect sizing). Realistically I should have two of the 3XL/4XL but already having purchased two, it will be awhile before I spend additional money as I can make these work in a pinch and when regulating time worn. ... show more
