I first used the Beactive brace years ago when I first started getting light sciatica pain. I can’t remember how I found out about it, but decided to try it. The relief from the pain was immediate. Through the years I bought more when they would stretch out or the velcro would wear out. I recently bought this new Beactive Plus brace and it’s even better than the original. My sciatica pain has been really bad this past week, where every step was painful. I couldn’t find the brace, so I just suffered. I found it last night and as soon as I put it on, the relief was immediate. I slept with it and this morning I wasn’t limping. Now, I’m not being compensated by Beactive or Amazon, nor am I looking for compensation. It’s just an honest review and hopefully can help someone who’s thinking about getting it. I have not been disappointed with this brace.

This helped me walk again 10 years ago, when my pain was unbearable. Then I forgot about it because my pain completely disappeared. In the last 2 years, I managed to put on about 70 lbs, which brought me back to unbearable back pain. I remembered my miracle brace, and I can tell you that I just completed a 40 min walk pain free!!! Whereas last week, before I ordered it, I was in tears after 5 minutes. Thank you to those who invented it and to those who manufactured it!

This hasn't fixed my knee issue, but it's the only thing that has helped besides meds. I've gone through PT multiple times. Surgery may help, but insurance won't cover it because it's not always successful. The brace is very adjustable, so it fits a wide variety of sizes. Which way goes up is marked by L or R for the leg you use it on. It stays up, which I can't say about most braces I've tried. Some of that might be where it sits, though. I could have wished for more instruction on where to place the acupressure plate. I had to go digging through videos to figure that out. Since, I have tried it in some other places and actually found that worked better for me, but my knee issue isn't very common. I've been using it for about three months now, and it does help the pain, so that's something.

I received the item but instructions are unclear as to where to place the pressure plate on my leg. Hasn’t stop the pain yet but I am wearing it everyday. Hopefully I will feel relief soon.

Note: This is FDA *cleared* which does NOT mean that it has been proven to work; it simply means that it can be marketed as a pain relief device because it is similar to other devices, and NONE of those 'similar' devices have evern been FDA *approved* (approved means they have been subject to testing, i.e. they actually work). More than likely this works by placebo effect. My GF had an ongoing back pain, I was skeptical about this (and other) device, but I bought it anyway as a long shot. It did not work. It turns out she just had a lumbar strain injury that eventually resolved on its own. This device seems too big for smaller people, and could be narrower considering it just applies pressure using a 1.5" button. She is 4-11 and petite, and it definitely did not fit under her pants leg, and although the brace fit her leg, it was so bulky that it was impossible to place it in the correct position without overlapping her knee joint. The material is comfortable, and she wore it while sleeping with no issues (again, no relief because no Sciatica, but that's expected). I tried it for fun - I'm a guy at 6-1 and athletic shape - and it fit great. So for my body type the fit was good. It still would be somewhat bulky under long pants, but would certainly be ok under baggy sweatpants, loose jeans, etc. Two stars because it's decently manufactured, but I doubt it really works. It falls into the snake-oil category of acupuncture, chirotherapy, etc. Unfortunately they got my money, and I'm too lazy to refund, but I wouldn't buy it. Go to a doctor.
