So glad to get to try this out on Vine. The solar panel is separate from the actual hen door, which is what we need on our quanset style chicken coop. I had a 2 ft "porch" overhang that is very dark and shady, so the other hen door that had the solar cell in the door itself would not work on this coop (perhaps on the chicken tractors though.) We needed the kind where you could mount the solar panel on the roof facing Southeast. Can't wait to install it. ... show more
