  • Designed by chicken owners
It’s quite sturdy. It’s obvious that the designers have raised chickens. The squared netting is for the sides to keep out predators. And the chicken wire is to cover the top as extra security in case the tarp rips. The tarp is heavy duty though, and unlikely to rip. The space around door is minimal, which prevents most predators from gaining access. We’re thrilled with the heavy duty door clasps. Our chickens are so happy! They immediately chose their favorite spots on the perch. Be sure to measure the wire out carefully so you don’t run out. We have several feet of wire left over, so there’s plenty for small mistakes or future repairs as long as you’re careful. Definitely a good buy. I recommend the spire shape so that snow and rain won’t weigh down a flat roof. ... show more

  • The perfect easy coop
Pattern Name: WireMesh Style: 6.6x9FT
Perfect for our ducks!! We had a few strong winds come through and this coop didn't budge. We did however buy additional stakes just to make sure it wouldn't move. Easy to put together, the most time consuming part is attaching the chicken wire to the frame but other than that super easy to handle.

  • Great predator-proof expansion for chicken coop!
Great quality and awesome customer service! I would totally buy this again. A couple of notes.. it does take a very long time to put the wire on to make it a fortress for chickens. Also, I ended up buying extra hardware cloth to put on the floor for more protection and reinforced the door frame so vermin can't squeeze in there. So far so good! I bought this to expand the space our chickens have to run around that is safe for us to leave them while we are away from the house. They love it and seem to enjoy all the extra freedom during the times we can't be there to let them free range in our yard. And I love the peace of mind that predators would have a hard time getting to them or their food at night This is exactly what I was hoping for and I was quite impressed with how quickly the company fixed the lack of zip ties in the package (there was some box damage and I think they fell out). I would buy from them again. ... show more

  • This is not predator proof. If you are raising prey animals (chickens), please keep looking.
The frame could use better welding at the joints of the corner connectors, but should be adequate as non-weight baring joints. Chicken wire and 3/4" hardware cloth is good for keeping animals in, but not for keeping predators out. If you are using this pen to keep/raise prey animals (chickens) you need to purchase 1/4" galvanized steel heavy gage hardware cloth. Canopy is plastic and may survive 1 summer in high heat environment, but will become brittle and tear apart over time. Plan to replace it with a heavy duty tarp or other roofing within the first year. The provided landscaping pins are cute, but will not keep it anchored to the ground during heavy weather. Plan to purchase proper augur pin tie down straps for the corners. Overall, I am pleased with the frame, for what it is, and obtained material upgrades easily. I still spent less than having a full pen built for me, which is exactly what I wanted. If you want heavy duty metal pen, buy a dog kennel instead. ... show more

  • Would not buy again.
I don’t normally leave reviews, good or bad. The good: assembling the frame is super easy. The bad: there were parts missing, but we had stuff at home that we could use to improvise. The hardware cloth & chicken wire have to attached using zip ties, and the ones you get with this are total crap. Get your own, you’ll thank me. This run is NOT predator proof. Because of the design, there are gaps. You just have to hope nothing slithers through. We did bury hardware cloth around the bottom of the perimeter, so hopefully that helps a bit. The “anchors” you get are a joke. Again, get your own, sturdier ones. It looks janky when it’s all put together. If you’re looking for aesthetically pleasing, this isn’t the run for you. ... show more

  • Sturdy, well built. Heavy duty roof tarp. Plenty of space.
Pattern Name: HardwareCloth Style: 18x9FT
This is more sturdier than it looks..it was easy to build. There was plenty of hardware cloth and plenty of chicken wire for the roof..all the parts were well marked. However the ground spikes aren’t as good so I attached hooks on all 4 corners and used carve straps, by doing this i guarantee this will be affected by the harsh winds. I will buy another and link them together to make more space when I more hens..the hardware cloth is heavy duty and nothing can get through. However you will want to buy more 8 inch zip ties..the 8 inch makes things much easier to tie everything down..the tarp is very good quality and covers everything just fine with an 8 inch overlap on the sides. The poles are of good quality. I would have to say this run is very well worth to money. I will also say that if you make some of your own personal upgrades you will have a rock solid run. There’s plenty of room to stand up anywhere inside the run. The bottom supports on each upright poles definitely makes this sturdy..I searched for hours on Amazon and this run was the ONLY run that had double supports on each upright poles..if you want something that will last then this run is what you want. I work in the construction industry so I know what’s good and what’s not..all I can say is this is well worth the money and the time to build the run. I hope this review helps in your decision. Thanks. ... show more

  • It is a decent product. Fencing needs to be smaller if you are gonna classify as a chicken coop.
Pattern Name: WireMesh+NestBox Style: 12x9FT
It is definitely ideal for our little chicken babies. They seem to enjoy the space from being in a trough and tote. Fencing is a bit wide to protect my chickens from the outside critters had to line it with smaller fencing.

  • Bait and switch don't do it
Pattern Name: HardwareCloth Style: 12x9FT
My son, who is a very knowledgeable a mill right, took time to drive 4 hours to put this coop/ron together. There were several problems. 1. The zip ties are very thin. Not nearly as strong as the cheep ones we got at Harber Freight. 2. The holes for the door hinges and latch do not line up, 3. We were missing some of the hardware to install the door and customer service did not resolve this, 4. It is not perdirer resistan. After putting it together, per directions, one of my chickens was able to escape through the big gap between the door and the frame. I really wish I would have found another option. I was very frustrated and feel that I was mislead. I am still working to resolve the issue. ... show more
