Directions: Due to the natural and inevitable "sail effect" caused by the tarp in high winds, we recommend removing the roof cover or securing it tightly with additional weights or ground anchors during high winds. This precaution helps protect your coops and ensures the safety of your poultry. - sales(at)quictents(dot)com

  • Sturdy, well built. Heavy duty roof tarp. Plenty of space.
Pattern Name: HardwareCloth+WireMesh Style: 18x9FT
This is more sturdier than it looks..it was easy to build. There was plenty of hardware cloth and plenty of chicken wire for the roof..all the parts were well marked. However the ground spikes aren’t as good so I attached hooks on all 4 corners and used carve straps, by doing this i guarantee this will be affected by the harsh winds. I will buy another and link them together to make more space when I more hens..the hardware cloth is heavy duty and nothing can get through. However you will want to buy more 8 inch zip ties..the 8 inch makes things much easier to tie everything down..the tarp is very good quality and covers everything just fine with an 8 inch overlap on the sides. The poles are of good quality. I would have to say this run is very well worth to money. I will also say that if you make some of your own personal upgrades you will have a rock solid run. There’s plenty of room to stand up anywhere inside the run. The bottom supports on each upright poles definitely makes this sturdy..I searched for hours on Amazon and this run was the ONLY run that had double supports on each upright poles..if you want something that will last then this run is what you want. I work in the construction industry so I know what’s good and what’s not..all I can say is this is well worth the money and the time to build the run. I hope this review helps in your decision. Thanks. ... show more

  • Good, Easy to build, reliable coop
Pattern Name: WireMesh+NestBox Style: 18x9FT
This is amazing for the price! The size is exactly as specified! It’s a lot of space. I fit a duck pond, the coop and so much more. It was a great purchase. The instructions were very easy to follow. I wish they gave you tools for the coop but it still got built. The netting is amazing as well. I haven’t had any chickens escape, and I’ve had nothing get in either so it’s incredibly reliable. It is pretty lightweight, however the stakes really anchor it to the ground. The tarp doesn’t cover the whole coop, which is perfect for the chickens and ducks. I would recommend getting more zip ties to make it extra secure. ... show more

  • Gate
Pattern Name: HardwareCloth+WireMesh Style: 6.6x9FT
This is a good unit, fairly easy to put together. I did get stronger zip ties for it. The biggest issue is the door/gate. The latch is not secure and the door has a wide gap all the way around. A good 3 plus inches. Other than that I'm satisfied.

  • Great coop, needs better wire.
Amazing coop! However replace the wire as it is flimsy. The chicken wire part is not even worth using. The hard ware cloth is ok, not worth it on the door it will rip where the laches come down. The tarp is a 10/10

  • A piece of junk and wishy washy customer support
Did not hold up to wind in southeast PA, even though we used the included stakes in the ground. I contacted the company for replacements parts and they asked me to send a list of what we needed. I disassembled the run and inventoried what we needed. They came back and said never mind, here is a 40% off coupon for a new one and next time, use extra weight to weigh it down. They also said that they now sell a new version of their product that has reinforcement bars. They obviously knew this product needed stability improvement and extra weights but sold it to me anyway. Avoid this junk and build something yourself or buy from a local supplier. Thank goodness my chickens were already in their coop for the evening. ... show more

  • Great Coop for the Price
Pattern Name: WireMesh+Ladder Style: 18x9FT
I recommend this one. I gave it a five even with the flaws because of how much better it is than another one I purchased. I purchased with the chicken wire option. It’s roomy and sturdy. I have a flock of chickens and Guineas in it. The metal frame and height of it surprised me. The frame went together quickly and easily. The wire took the longest. The small perch is a welcome addition, I used it for the foundation of a bucket nesting box area. I’m considering a second one. Negatives; The chicken wire is not the cheapest, but also not the best and needs lots of wire ties around bottom to prevent gaps. I put boards and block around the outside edge to anchor it better and prevent wind damage. If I do get another it will be with the hardware cloth. The tarp cover is thicker than expected but under the direct sun I don’t know how long it will last. ... show more

  • Bought to use as a cat enclosure, great customer service
I recently adopted a cat that used to be outdoors 24/7 (was either a stray or abandoned). I like to keep my cats indoors for safety reasons, but I didn't want him to miss the outdoors completely. Being much cheaper and larger than prebuilt catios, I decided on this chicken coop. My mother helped me assemble it, and it took a few days to complete (just a few hours each day). It went pretty smoothly (I assemed most of the frame on my own, but the mesh and tarp would be much better with another person). The most time-consuming part of the process was probably cutting the hardware cloth/chicken wire and securing with all the zip ties. The little U-shaped stakes to 'anchor' the enclosure in place don't seem to do much, but I also have pretty soft ground (it seems substantial enough that it wont blow away or anything, but you may want to buy something sturdier). I did initially have an issue where one of the corner base plates was bent just enough that I couldn't insert the connecting rod. I contacted customer support, and Milka promptly replied to my message and had arranged a replacement to be sent out. It arrived within a couple days (turns out the wrong part was sent lol, but I contacted Milka again and they immediately sent the correct part). If you measure the hardware cloth carefully, you can actually use it for every part of the coop except the roof area under the tarp. It's a bit better quality than the chicken wire, so that's what we did. Overall, despite a bit of a delay with the dented part and the stakes not doing much to anchor the coop, I'm very happy with this purchase so far. I admittedly don't have much to compare it to, but my mother has chickens of her own and said that she thought this was a pretty decent coop for the price. Plus customer service is very responsive (thank you, Milka!). I'm happy to be able to give my cat a safe area to enjoy the outdoors on nice days. (I will update this review if something happens in the future). ... show more
