The rating is for the look, simple assembly and ease of use but it didn’t come with the strap it mentions in the directions that would give it a closer and tighter fit…it’s getting the job done but my son can slide in between so I still have to do a pillow barrier

This product has a serious safety and quality issue. We secured all the clips exactly as instructed, but the clips do not stay in place. The first time, I noticed that even though everything was properly fastened, one of the clips became loose by itself after about 30 minutes and fell off. Tonight it happened again. Our child lightly touched the rail while playing, and the clip immediately detached. The rail collapsed and our child fell off the bed and got hurt. This is extremely dangerous for a product that is supposed to protect children. A safety product should never fail this easily. We are very disappointed and concerned about the safety of this product. Parents should be aware of this issue before purchasing.

Helps keep the baby in and not fall off the bed. Tool-less and easy to assemble. Quick and easy to bring the side up and down. Bad thing is it doesn't fit our mattress and our mattress is standard king size 80x76. As you can see from the picture, the bottom leaves a noticeable gap and impossible to connect together according to instructions. Both sides are like that. Measuring the rails, they come almost 1.5 in short of the advertised length.

This product has given me peace of mind when cosleeping. Easy to assemble, works well, very sturdy. Very stable. Fits my low platform king bed, even with a high wingback headboard, and a 16-inch mattress. Works well with a sidecar crib set up as well Definitely worth the price.
