  • The fit perfectly 👌

They are working out GREAT!

  • Fixed the Sagging Feeling in Our King Bed
Size: King (76x80'')
I bought this bunkie board because our king mattress had started dipping slightly in the middle where the bed frame slats didn't provide enough support. The mattress itself was still in good condition, so I wanted to try improving the foundation before considering something much more expensive. After putting this underneath, the bed immediately felt flatter and more evenly supported. Installation couldn't have been simpler. We removed the mattress, positioned the board over the existing frame, and put the mattress back on top. There was nothing complicated to assemble, and I really liked that the thin profile didn't noticeably raise the height of our bed. The extra support has made the biggest difference in the center of the mattress. My husband and I used to notice that we would gradually roll toward the middle during the night, but the sleeping surface now feels much more consistent from side to side. Another unexpected improvement has been how quiet the bed feels. The fabric covering helps prevent the board from rubbing directly against the frame, and we've noticed fewer little squeaks and noises when one of us rolls over or gets out of bed during the night. Overall, this was a much easier solution than replacing our mattress or adding a bulky box spring. It provides the extra support our king bed needed while keeping the same low-profile appearance. If your mattress is still comfortable but your slats aren't providing enough support, this is definitely worth considering. ... show more

  • Easy & great support.
Size: Queen (60x80'')
Ok, I must confess I'm a bit confused (hence the removal of one star). The instructions that come along with the bunkie board, & the pictures on the web, all state the bunkie board folds should run parallel with the length of the bed. The picture with red circles show the fold lines. That's impossible. The two sections (#1 & #2) bunkie boards can only fit one way (on the queen) & that means the folds are not running parallel with the length of the bed. Some of the folds are not supported underneath by the slats. So with that in mind, I have no idea if this poses a problem down the road. The cover has zippers & you can see the great quality of the board inside. This couldn't be any easier to install. The queen has two separate sections that you simply unfold & place on the slats. It gave my bed extra support. It's not thick which is great for my mattress because the top of my mattress was already 36" from the floor - crazy high. I noticed no shifting of the mattress when tossing & turning during the night. Hardest part was removing the mattress & putting it back on because it's heavy. A bit expensive but worth it to keep your mattress in tip top shape. ... show more

  • Beats the 1/2 inch plywood I was using before and no wood smell or splinters! Removeable cover.
Size: King (76x80'')
This fits a true size king bed just right as you can see. Previously I was using two sheets of 1/2 inch plywood each cut to half widths of the king bed to help provide support. For some reason, beds don't come with enough slats anymore (especially if you are sleeping on a memory foam mattress). This is a much nicer alternative. First, the plywood has a smell to it from all of the adhesives used during manufacturing that this does not. Second, this is much easier to handle and move since it folds up so easily into a manageable dimension. The foam is high quality/stiff and I have no worries about the durability of this to withstand the full life of our mattress, if not exceed it. One thing I didn't see mentioned in the product description that I was pleasantly surprised by was that the cover has a zipper around it. Meaning, you can eventually take just the fabric cover off if you needed to and throw it into the washing machine to make it like new again. For $80, which is close to what you'll pay for two sheets of plywood anyways, this is a fair price and a much better way to spend your money. ... show more

  • Technically works , lightweight but not solid enough for my needs .
Size: Full (54x75'')
It works decently to keep the overall bed profile lower, but it has a few noticeable design drawbacks depending on your bed setup. (Sags) Luckily its a vine item and I didnt loose anything but time (not very much though its easy to set up) . I really only needed a lower profile bed because my dog is ageing and cant quite jump like she used to . But now im going to get stuck in the center of the bed . Its not compatible with frames that do not have preexisting structural integrity. Design & Support Issue: The board consists of two separate trifold sections placed side-by-side. Because it splits right down the center, there is significant sagging in the middle if your bed frame doesn't have closely spaced wooden slats or center support rails underneath. On frames with open space in the middle, it sags right into the center void. Build Quality: The interior panels consist of lightweight hollow-core plastic/polycarbonate inserts inside zipped fabric sleeves. While this makes it lightweight, it doesn't feel particularly "heavy-duty" or rigid enough to bridge large gaps on its own. I imaging those with heavier bodies than mine would expirence significant sagging problems even with slats under their bed . Noise: On the positive side, it is completely quiet—no squeaking, crinkling, or shifting noises when moving around on top of it. The Verdict It works fine if you just need a low-profile layer over existing slats, but it lacks structural rigidity on its own. If your bed frame has an open middle without slats, expect noticeable sagging down the central seam. ... show more

  • Perfect Fit and Adds Extra Support
Size: King (76x80'')
This bunkie board fits my king-size platform bed perfectly. My bed already has wooden slats to support the mattress, but I added this on top to provide a little more stability and a more even surface under the mattress. It also adds just a bit of extra height, which I appreciate because it makes changing the sheets a little easier. It lays nicely over the existing slats and doesn’t add a lot of bulk or noticeably change the overall look of the bed. So far, I’m very pleased with the fit and the added support. It was an easy way to make my existing platform bed feel a little more substantial without adding a traditional box spring. ... show more

  • Great for sagging beds..
Size: Queen (60x80'')
This is a lifesaver instead of buying a new bed. One side of my bed was sagging so I seen this and had to order it to try. It is a great fit for my bed and it’s not too heavy so you can put it on yourself. It is very sturdy but it’s comfortable. It’s a great value instead of buying a bed. I definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • The Extra Support Our King Bed Needed
Size: King (76x80'')
Our king bed really needed some extra support. With a thick mattress and two plus-sized people sleeping on it, I wanted some peace of mind that the bed itself had enough stable strength underneath it to bear the load. This board does exactly what I was hoping it would do. It creates a much more solid foundation under the mattress and helps eliminate that feeling that the bed is going to sag or flex where you least want it to. I also like that it doesn't add much height to the bed. You simply put it on the frame, put the mattress on top, and you're done. The fabric covering keeps it from creating a bunch of noise against the frame, too. For us, this was less about changing the feel of the mattress and more about knowing that there's a strong, stable foundation underneath it. If your king bed could use some additional support, this is a simple solution that provides a lot of reassurance. Highly recommended! ... show more
