I took the plunge and spent the money on this machine and have ZERO regrets! This is an amazing vacuum. I went thru the set up - pretty easy to figure out. Ran the vac in our bedroom TWICE. The nasty mess I dumped out both times made me ill. I looked into this vacuum because we live in a very dusty area and hubby has terrible allergies. When you walk across the floor it feels clean! The room even smells better. Suction is great - really feels like it means business and you are getting the job done. Our carpet is only about a month old so it's not like we have years of build up to contend with. Now for the down side. It is not self propelled so be prepared to wrestle with it a bit and it is rather heavy. But so far that is all I can really "complain" about. I HIGHLY recommend buying one - your health is worth it, not to mention the longevity you are offering your carpet. ... show more

Updated after 6 weeks. - My carpets have gotten easier to vacuum each time I have used this, twice the first week and weekly after that. - Less dirt comes up each week. The first time I used it, I had to replace the water 4 times for 1200 sq feet, now just twice and I could probably get away with just emptying after I am finished. Our house has 2 wfh residents. - The house smells cleaner and there is less dust. - To empty, I place a paper towel over the drain in the bathroom sink and pour the dirty water into the sink. The water drains and the paper towel catches the dirt. Easy to fold the paper towel and toss. - Once the cord kept coming out of the vacuum because I didn't realize it clicked when the cord was fully in. - I am such a cheap skate, but this was definitely worth the money! Original review: I just got this today and so far I love it! I am not the type to spend over $400 for a vacuum, but I was sick of how dusty the air was every time I vacuumed with my current vacuum. I considered a better HEPA vacuum, but the filters are too expensive. The Pros! - REALLY cleans the carpeting. I was worried it did not have enough suction because it is not very loud and it didn't pull up the rug I have over my carpeting. But my carpeting has never looked so clean!! - The AIR seems very fresh and clean after using it. It is heavy, but it moves easily, so it was not as tiring to use as my current bagless vacuum. I read reviews so I was careful to make sure I removed the black part before emptying the water canister, and I made sure the canister clicked when I put it back. I also was careful not to add water past the Max line. I vacummed approximately 1200 sq feet, and changed the water 4 times. The water needed to be changed! This guy brought up a LOT of dirt. - This DOES manuver better than most vacuums and it does go farther under furniture. - It is not gross to empty like normal bagless vacuums. Farmer's wife with 2 super huge, long-haired dogs, 2 floored house with hardwood floors, area rugs and carpet. I've murdered a Dyson and a Shark plus bag vacuums filled up to quick and dust still escaped. I purposefully did not vacuum or sweep for 5 days which equals to Chewbacca to put it to the test! 1. Easy assembly 2. Love the NO filters! Just dump out water and rinse out the insert. Due to my house being so dirty I used a 5-gallon bucket to dump the water into so I could through it all outside once. (Don't through waste down your septic.) I had to refill it 6 times that day. Then using it the second time (every other day) I had to only refill it twice once upstairs and down. I'm okay with that. Saved greatly on my dust allergy since the water held all the dirt! 3. It has amazing suction on both hardwood and carpet. I love that I do not have to change the lift from one to another. It sucks even on the sides against the base boards. It did suck up my through rugs so I had to stand on the corners and fight it, but that is what I need to get the dog hair off it. 4. No Roller Cleaning! I purposely went over huge dog hair clumps to test this. Every vacuum I have used I had to stop and pull the hair out of the rollers. 5. Attachments did well. 6. BIG DOWNSIDE SUPER HEAVY to go up and downstairs or to vacuum stairs. Now I am okay with this, but my mother would never be able to run this. It takes some push on thicker carpet. So, this is not for every household, really consider if you have the strength and fight to clean. Understand since it is a water base vacuum there is no way to get away from it being heavy. Remember the old Rainbows? Same thing but an upright. 7. Love the color option! I bought the pearly pink, now feel like Eva Gabor vacuuming up Green Acres! Totally dating myself now! IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED: 1. No hook for your cord just a tiny Velcro strap. I folded the cord up, wrap the strap and push it through the handle hold. That works just looks sloppy. 2. Needs another handle to help lift it going upstairs. You CANNOT use the handle in front that is only to change the water and since it is of course plastic it will break from the weight and with only a 30-day warranty you are screwed. So, lifting it like a baby sleeping in your arms it the way. 3. Pricey for plastic. I don't mind if it lasts.....we will see! I am hopeful we will have a long sucky relationship! If no update we are still going strong. If I repost with a picture of it out at the curb in pieces, it couldn't handle the farm life! ... show more

I was excited to get this vacuum as I am a crazy vacuumer. I vacuum my house daily. As soon as I plugged the power cord into the machine I began looking for hooks to wind it around… but there aren’t any! Strike 1. Attachments aren’t easy to use due to the house being an attachment. Strike 2. Weighs a LOT. Strike 3. I decided I could overlook all those issues if it vacuumed as good as advertised. It didn’t pick up everything my last vacuum picked up. Soooo disappointed! Within 24 hrs it was packed up and ready to be returned to Amazon. Bought another shark vacuum which are the best!! ... show more
