Been using it for a bit now. Decreased charge time from 14 hours to under 3. Not bad. Not bad at all. Unit seems very solid, glad this was was so much less expensive.

Had for 3 months now and using 240V 20 amp dedicated socket. Charges at 3780kv using 16 amps and charges my CX90 in about 4 hours. Also seemed a little faster then stock charger using standard 15 amp 120v Socket.

    • Long 25 foot cable and bargain price for a level 2 charger.
It seems to be a very good quality charger for a level 2 charger. I haven't had the chance to test it at my home yet because i'm waiting for my electrician to come out and upgrade my panel to a 200 amp panel. So, I can only speak to how it feels and looks in the hand. It comes in a convenient case and feels high quality. I like the idea that I can keep it in the car and use it on outlets around my home or at my families house if they have a 240 volt plug. "a Level 1 charger will typically get 4 miles of driving range per hour of charge, a Level 2 charger will get an average of 32 miles of driving range per hour of charge. This means that you're charging up to 8 times faster with a Level 2 charging station." Level 1 is not going to work for me, so I'm excited to get my panel upgraded and get these level 2 speeds going! 8/10 I would recommend it. I hope this review is helpful. ... show more

I just bought a Plug in Hybrid vehicle, and the car came with a Level 1 120v charger. For my car, this takes about 10 hours to trickle charge my car to get my 34 miles of electric charge. I installed a 220v plug in my garage, and now with this Level 2 charger, I’m fully charged in about 2 hours! The charger also comes with a carrying case, which I used for my Level 1 charger to leave in the trunk. Overall, there’s not much to do with it. There is a button that allows you to change voltage, but it will default to the highest amperage possible, which is 16amps in this case. The cord is definitely long enough to reach my car, much longer than the cord that came with the vehicle. For the price and functionality, this really is a great product and very happy with it! ... show more

    • Charge Does Not Work For 2017 Prius
So the charger functions properly and all the functions work but this will not charge our 2017 Prius Prime. I can see from other reviews that this charger is working for people with Chevy Volts. Otherwise the build quality is good and the company is very responsive to helping you solve any issues with your charger. ... show more
