The media could not be loaded. When I received the goods, the package was not very big. When I opened it, there was no smell. Every piece of wood and shelf was packed with plastic film. Because of careful packaging, there were no scratches left between the wood blocks after long distance transportation. The seller is very considerate. Every spare part is well fitted, and each side is very neat. It took only about eight minutes to set up the whole floor lamp. I worried the lamp would be unstable because it was too light. After I set it up, my worry had gone. Because this lamp is made of solid wood, its center of gravity is lower. I thought if I put a potted plant for decoration at the bottom layer, the whole lamp would be more stable. It can decorate my room as well. When I turn on the light, there is a small surprise. Our cat usually likes to lie under the sofa. At this moment, he crawls out from the sofa and lies down under the lamp leisurely, enjoying the light bath belonging to it. I asked Amazon customer service to call me, which they immediately did. I explained I thought the cord was defective and wanted to contact the seller. They emailed me a link so I could email the seller, who quickly responded - on a Sunday! - and gave me some info that helped me realize my misunderstanding. I was able to finish assembling it without further issues. This Floor Lamp with Shelves is great! It’s made of hardwood, thoughtfully designed and carefully packed for shipping. It looks great, is very functional and sturdy. I really like the diffused light, which is strong enough to chase away the winter darkness of cloudy days and early sunsets. I’m VERY pleased with this product. The one thing they could definitely improve on is the assembly instructions. However, with a bit of help from the seller, I was able to assemble it just fine. If you combine common sense with the instructions (maybe with a magnifying glass!) and the assembly tips on the Amazon webpage for this product, you should do fine. If you’re looking for one of these but you can’t stand compressed “wood” and don’t want something that looks cheap, then this is the light/storage stand for you. ... show more

Wanted a replacement for my IKEA lamps, and these looked great. Price was nice, used a coupon too, but only for one of two. Standard for DIY furniture, threaded rod, cheap tools and surprisingly quality wood. Instructions are printed on half a folded sheet of paper and not exactly step by step but assembly was simple enough. Part count shows 12X threaded rod and 4X Hex bolts, but should be 8X for each which is what you actually get with a spare for each. So you get what you need and they look good. If you are really OCD then the fraction of an inch misalignment may be an issue, but with matte black it is barely noticeable. So overall, quite happy. One of the pictures show the IKEA lamp for comparison with LIFX A19 at 3000K and 100% in it and the new one. Also I tested the included bulb and it worked great and was quite bright, just used my LIFX bulbs as they are set up with ALEXA and Harmony already. ... show more

I just received and assembled the lamp, and I am very impressed! It’s very elegant, modern, gives my room a clean feeling (I bought the white one). The assembly was quick and simple, the instructions are very easy to follow. All parts are numbered and the order in which they need to be assembled is noted in the instructions. For the hardware, extra screws were included, which is a brilliant idea should one lose one (it didn’t happen with this lamp but happened many times to me in the past). I did not realize the lamp would come with a bulb - it did! And it’s good quality LED lamp, with two different whites (daylight, and warm). I was pleasantly surprised by this. There is a USB port and an outlet on one of the shelves, which makes it ideal to put a phone on and charge it conveniently at night. There is plenty of room on the shelves for few books, picture frames, decorating elements. The lamp is made of solid wood, which is a huge plus. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase, especially at such a very attractive price. ... show more

Looks very good, adds a lot of warm atmosphere to the bedroom. I can finally charge my phone now without seeing a wire on the ground. I was able to install it in about 10 minutes with the instruction. They also gave 1-2 extra screws in case you lose them.
